Bouillon Castle is well positioned high above the Semios River and surrounded by steep forested hillsides. You enter via a drawbridge and portcullis on a self guided tour. First is the vaulted Godfrey of Bouillon room which is carved directly from the rock. From here we entered the main courtyard and crossed to the thick outer walls and southern towers.... more

We stayed and visited Bouillon for a night & day as a stopover to Paris. We loved this quaint and beautiful small town with the majestic castle ruins overlooking. We purchased the pass which included the godfrey show, the museum & the castle visit. I would recommend viewing the show first ( which is in the centre of town) so... more
