One of my favourite place

Much wilder and rough than the one in San Vito LoCapo it is though the best way to expereince the crystal clear waters of Western Sicily.

I stopped by Spiaggia di Macari on the way back from San Vito Lo Capo. The beach is a brief five minute drive on the southern coastal road to/from SVLC. The roadside beach has two cultural attractions: 1) A small roadside chapel or shrine on the seafront of the road immediately south of Macari village; 2) What appears to be... More

Macari is a beautiful natural area (also with a natural reserve) near san Vito. Macari gulf is an amazing place. It has an amazing view and it is a quiet place. If you are not attracted by the crowd & touristic San Vito Lo Capo, is in my opinion a better option than San Vito beach (which is anyway 2-3... More

A wild and rugged beach with few facilities but a sense of going back to nature. Excellent beach and clear water. Great for snorkelling.

For those who want to be away from the busy beach of san Vito then I suggest Macari beach which is only a few km outside of san Vito. Easily accessed by car. I suggest you take an umbrella with you as I am not sure if u can hire one from there or not. Very relaxing place, recommend it... More

I enjoyed a couple of hours at this beach. It was busy, but not overcrowded by Italian standards. We found a quiet, peaceful spot away from the crowd. The water was refreshingly cool. Nice on a 30+ Celsius day. Also the water was very clean. We never took the shuttle, but walked down from the free parking area in under... More

Clear water, beautiful blue color and enough space This beach is very beutiful.. not so much people and very nice sand there. Also the water is absolutely clear. Prices for a sunbed 5 EUR + umbrelle also 5 EUR for the whole day. The small restaurant has prices, which are absolutely acceptable for this location. A small "train" is getting... More

Very picturesque beach, but water is much more colder, than in San Vito Lo Capo. Large free parking, small bar, a lot of space to put your own umbrella.

Beautiful, breath-taking view of the sea, islands and mountains! When traveling from Trapani to San Vito lo Capo, a must-do is stopping by in a panoramic site nearby this location and taking some pictures!

We lived near by but only used the beach once. It was nice, clean, beautiful water, but with too many people for our taste.
