Downingbury Farm feels very run down and desparately needs a makeover. Most of the produce, especially the strawberries also seem very expensive compared to the supermarkets. The shop also seems to have gone donwhil recently. It is a shame as so much more could be made of the site.

Downingbury Farm is a terrific farm on the edge of Pembury village that boasts a great farm shop as well as a pick your own service for fruit when it's in season. The farm shop boasts a good range of produce, the majority of it locally sourced, and is staffed by a really friendly team. Downingbury Farm is a great... More

Downingbury Farm is a great farm shop on a working farm, and a wonderful place to shop and pick the fruits when in season. Always a great selection of local grown produce, and local meats and other produce. The only disappointment for me has been when I bought eggs from Downingbury Farm, expecting farm eggs - but they were from... More

We went strawberry picking here the last couple of summers. The kids love being able to pick their own fruit and it keeps them entertained trying to find the biggest strawberries

Brilliant - what a fantastic thing that you can take the kids and pick your own fruit. The kids love it and of course so do we.

This place is wonderful, you can pick your own fruit with the kiddies and there is so much fresh food on offer you feel spoiled for choice.

Apart from the 'pick your own' the farm shop has a huge selection of other produce too large to mention

Downingbury Farm has a excellent farm shop with a variety of fruits and vegetables, reasonably priced. They also sell meats and dairy produce. But most of all they hace the best pick-your-own strawberries in the area. They do a brilliant cream tea too, depends on how they are staffed because sometimes they are really busy. The staff are always polite... More

A great place to take the children fruit picking. You pay according to the weight of the fruit you take home. There is also a wonderful shop very well stocked with local and regional produce.
