Alipur Zoo has a variety of animals and birds. I enjoyed my visit there and I was quite excited to see the elephants, crocodiles, tiger, deer, peacock, emu etc. I visited this zoo more than once and every time I liked it. It is like a small forest at the heart of the city. After enjoying the zoo, one must... More

The oldest Zoo, good to move around and lots of animal, but many of them are kept in bad shape and with poor maintenance, needs to be taken more care.

Looked very good. Lot of animals. But area little less than other zoos for so many animals. New Tiger glass wall is very attractive.

It has nothing to do with "Zoo". All are birds & trees, there is Nothing left inside. No ANIMALS. Only 1 tiger, 1 Lion, 3 Elephants, 3 Giraffes, 3 Rhinos, 1 bear, 2 Crocodiles & 3 Hippos among wild animals. And a whole lot of stupid Donkeys, Dears & Birds! very Poorly maintained. One has to walk a long long... More

Known fact - oldest zoo in the country. It has been run down for a while now. New management needs the time and support of all who visit the zoo to keep it friendly to both visitors and the animals. Noticed that the enclosures for birds and animals need to be updated. Visitor education is important so is the fact... More

Been to the zoo recently after many years to see Royal Bengal tigers; its kind of disappointing to see that there is barely any maintenance. Most of the animals and birds looks like tired and not been feed well. Saw 2 white tigers, both sleeping. I Royal Bengal was awake so I was happy to see him, the Lion was... More

It was ridiculously crowded aswell with people pushing and shoving to see the animals! Good to kill 2 hours with as it's only 20 rps to... More
