Visiting zoo is fun with so many varieties of animals. Many cages of birds with attractive plumage. Cockatoo, Peacocks, Bodris, Hornbills , spoon bills are there. Kolkata Zoo is near kidderpore or Alipore.It can also be reached from Hotel Taj bengal.This zoo possess many types of species which cannot be seen else where.Very good to pass time with your family.

The oldest Zoo, good to move around and lots of animal, but many of them are kept in bad shape and with poor maintenance, needs to be taken more care.

Looked very good. Lot of animals. But area little less than other zoos for so many animals. New Tiger glass wall is very attractive.

Best time to visit this place is during winter season.Tigers are given food at around 4 PM. So stay over there during that period of time
