What an experience while visiting such ancient temple,Gold Plated temple of Shiva where Moguls didn't get succeed for looting the gold.

When reached somnath i inquered about sagar darshan,a part of somnath trust guest house.though reaching on foot was quite tiresome but the view was awesome.if u visit Somnath then be sure to stay at sagar darshan guest house adjacent to the Somnath Temple.the view from every room is magnificent both the see and the temple are visible.morning and evening arties... More

The vibes are so pleasing that one cannot leave the place in a short time, and the view of the sea cannot be expressed through words one has to see it to feel it.

it is the temple situated beside sea shore. atmosphere their is amazing. statue of shiv is very much beautifull and decorated very amazingly.

the temple is must visit , the renovation of vicinity done by govt is appreciable , the temple is on tip of arbian sea and the blessings of god -shankar ... bholenath ... is felt in the temple premise . u feel oneness with almighty .... jai bholenath. ..

We left Prabhas Patan museum and reached Somnath temple at 1800 . About 200 m before the temple , the Somnath Devsthan Trust had constructed a huge complex to look after the things which could not be carried in the temple . The things apart from footware were all leather items , bags , battery operated devices , bottles ,... More

The temple entry and exit are very well marked and organised. There is a battery cart for the aged and the disabled as also wheel chairs. The temple premises are very well maintained and clean. None of the usual jostling and pushing.

We visited the temple in December 2013. Car parking is a bit of a challenge - our driver dropped us off and waited for us at a pre-decided location. No leather items are allowed inside the temple - there is a thorough checking at the entrance. Men must deposit all leather goods such as belts at the shoe / footwear... More

Somnath temple has so many past history behind it,hence it has created lot of attraction to the visitors . The temple at present is new & beautifully built with red stone with wonderful carvings.There is lot of moving space in & around the temple & location of the temple is the best situated on the shore of Arabian sea.Cool breeze...
