My wife and I visited the Temple of Somnath in November of 2014. We were awed by its magnanimity and its location on the Arabian Sea. No human dealers come in between you and Him. No one forces you to buy a pooja. Absolutely tranquil place to say your thanks and prayers. The cleanliness really impress you. As it is an historical site, there should be a much better documentation of the past. A audio guide would be perfect.

One of a kind temple that you should visit and attend the light show that is organized every evening. The best part is that it is open air and you got to listen the wave sound as well.
