Walked passed the church several times before deciding to go in and the interior is nothing like you'd expect. One of the most colourful churches you would ever expect to see coupled with displays of religious artefacts and wall to ceiling paintings. Worth a look if in Lindos

I don't think you have done Greece until you have visited at least one church. Interior to take your breath away. Be respectful. Cover arms and no short shorts. Fabric to cover yourself is available.

The church is tucked into the pretty town of Lindos, guarded by a Greek lady who kept all the tourist on their toes. No photos no shorts, one had to wear covering for our legs .Beautiful paintings inside of biblical scenes.

This church wasn't opened when we visited Lindos but the pathway into the church is a beautifully decorated pebble area and you can view the steeple with bell in the court yard.

Whilst in Lindos we visited The Church of the Panagia, it was beautiful inside and even has a small museum attached with many artefacts on display. Its well worth a look and is highly recommended. Remember to cover up out of respect for the church before entering - clothes are provided.

This tiny church is so intimate and touching - try to visit this little beauty during a service or for a private visit. Don't miss it!

As you wonder down the small streets, it's easy to miss, the entrance is a small courtyard, the ground beautifully pebbled. It's very small, so doesn't take long to visit. Beautiful icons inside (as pictured although people are asked not to). It would be a shame to miss, so look out for it.

I am not much of a church visiting person but I am glad I took the time to stop by here. The interiors are really lovely, the little church at St Pauls bay is also worth checking out.

Lovely small church completely covered inside with beautiful murals and icons etc. There is a lady on the door with some shawls which some people have to put on before entering if there is too much flesh on show.
