It is a healthy climb to the top of this acropolis, but well worth the energy. Beautiful views from the top. One caution - not recommended for anyone with physical difficulties, and it is a long uphill climb. Also caution for children - there are no safety railings on the path, and in some places there is a very long... More

The climb up here needs to be refurbished with steps as it is a steep slope which is very slippy! after the billions of feet that have walked up it (Only recommend for able bodied people) The views are very good at the top and there is a lot of information around, there is no shade to shelter you from... First a word of warning.... The entrance fee to the Acropolis has now gone up to €6 ! As a party of 6 adults, 2 children and a 17 month old child we took a boat trip from Rhodes to Lindos to see the Acropolis. When we arrived at Lindos 4 adults and the 2 children were taken up on... More

For people interested in history and photographers alike, this is a brilliant setting. We traveled to the Acropolis without a donkey and were glad we did - there were plenty of interesting shops to call in along the way. Entry to the historic site is 6 euros which is very reasonable indeed; you can easily spend 45 mins to an... More

We stayed in Pefkos but heard about the Acropolis from our rep. We got a taxi from Pefkos at about nine euros which was quite decent. We were going to taxi but there aren't any footpaths and the cars come careering around...wouldn't recommend. You are dropped off in the main square and have the option of walking up to the... More

We were lucky we had a cloudy morning so took the opportunity to visit the Acropolis. You need to have good walking shoes on as it can be a bit slippery and you have a lot of walking and steps. The views from Lindos and St Pauls Bay are really good, it is well worth a visit if the weather... More

This trip you can do by foot or with the taxi "donkey"(5 euro),but from the top you have very beautiful views and nice pictures; in summer, go in the morning; it can get very hot,you need water to reach. Lindos village is too touristic: very crowded, but you have to pass it to get to the Acropolis.

The ancient acropolis situated by the town of Lindos is well worth the climb up the hill. The view from the top is really breath taking in all directions. The varied and long history of the acropolis is also well worth investigating in advance as information of the site is unfortunately somewhat lacking on the site.

Acropolis of Lindos is a must see if you are in Rhodes. The Acropolis has easy access to the sites. The climb is steep, but for the adventurers, it's a welcoming trip. If you're not so adventurous, a donkey can bring you up for a cost of 5 Euros! The view from the top is well worth the trip. There... More
