After a long walk up, or if you prefer a ride up on a donkey, the Acropolis is well worth a visit. Not a huge amount to see inside but the views are fantastic. Do not miss but go in the afternoon when the coach tours have departed.

Visited Lindos in December 2014. We took the public transport from Rhodes. It is a bus that goes around small towns before reaching Lindos ( about 1h 10min). Costs 5 euro per person. The bus leaves you outside of Lindos but you have a more or less direct path to the Acropolis. The site is impressive and the view from... More

You wonder how on earth they built this in the place they did so many years ago. It is absolutely amazing, from the walk through Lindos, up the hill, and exploring the Acropolis. Stunning views, defo worth a visit, very hot up there, be sure to get your factor 50 on and take lots of water :)

We came to this site on a very hot day in August. It was really lovely, quite busy but really informative. It is a paid for attraction and a bit expensive but once you have walked all the way to the top you can't not see it. Beautiful views and a nice site. This site is requires a walk up... More

If you only do one excursion during your stay in Rhodes, make sure it is the Acropolis! Surrounded by the beautiful Lindos village, it is the most picturesque place I saw! If you are into photography (or just selfies) you'll love it here, the views are incredible! There is a poolside bar by the coach park right at the top... More

Great place to visit and free entry for students with a valid European student card. Involves walking and climbing stairs, but views are worth it. Acropolis ruins are well maintained and signs are situated next to them giving some interesting history on the buildings.

We visited Acropolis just before sunset. Magnificent view over the sea and the beaches. Impressive ancient columns and restored parts of the complex. It was nice to sit and contemplate over history and peaceful landscape. Highly recommended to visit in September- October. It's not hot and not so many tourists.

On the hill there is nice place - acropolis of Lindos, nice view, nice historical experience, during my stay there was some repairing, so I cannot enjoy it fully, but recommended to see this.

Lindos is wonderful city. All houses are white with blue roofs. If you want you can go to Aquaduct by donkey. In the future certainly still visit this city.

It's very very hot up at the top in summer, and can be extremely packed - so try to go early in the morning. Lots to see and imagine but the information boards could be a bit clearer and more visible. Truly spectacular views though over the stunning St. Paul's Bay and the wider coastline.
