It give you a nice view of Lindos and the 2 bays. It's also nice to see how they used to build so many years ago, but it's almost all loos blocks and ruins. It was a little strange to see that they were building something new up there.

Worth the 300 steps to the top! Views are amazing and it is a well perserved site! the meandering through the back streets to get to the main climbing path, it cool and great if you like shopping. Take plenty of water as there are no places to buy on the way up!

This is referring to the coffee shop at the top near the acropolis entrance, This place is SERIOUSLY over priced, I bought 2 magnum ice creams and two orange juices which were not very nice, for 13 Euro after I decided to get some water and I asked for 3 bottles of water, the Woman behind the counter asked for... Great place to visit, can get quite busy from 11am onwards so would recommend going early. Not much shade up on the top but fantastic views over Lindos, the bay and St.Pauls. Not much protection from the edges of the acropolis with a long way down so be careful especially if you have kids or don't like heights

This is a really wonderful site. It makes you feel like you are seeing multiple pieces of history from Ancient Greece to the Ottoman Empire. Don't take the donkeys. These poor animals are forced to carry much more weight then they should. They are not horses or camels. Enjoy the walk up and the sights you get.

it was a beautiful place but it was so busy that it was hard to look at everything. The acropolis has a lot of steps so if you are not physically fit this maybe a challenge. The acopolis itself is very interesting and the views are outstanding.

Nothing incredible but overall one of the best in Lindos, great view and friendly staff. Food tasted fresh and was reasonably priced, owner was very kind.

It may be a tourist magnet with hoards of cameras, i-pad and mobile phones being used to capture views & ruins in all directions, but it is a must visit attraction if you are staying anywhere on Rhodes. I went early in the morning by rented car. Ther crowds grow steadily throughout the day as does the temperature. The whole... More
