My partner and I went on a day trip to Lindos from a nearby resort and thoroughly enjoyed the ruins. It was a good climb to the top but achievable for any able bodied person. Once at the top the ruins are very impressive - it's amazing to think that this was built over 2000 years ago. To top it... More

We went to the acropolis early in the morning when it first opened to try and avoid the worst of the heat, and it was quiet at this time. Found it interesting historically but the highlight for me were the views.

My girlfriend and I went to Lindos and the acropolis and are very glad we did! Soon as you can see the town and the Acropolis it's so beautiful! The steps up really aren't that bad, yes it's hot and narrow but not overly steep & the views up are amazing. You could get a donkey up at €5pp. It... More

Everyone says this is a must-see in Lindos, and since we could see it from our balcony, of course we wanted to pay it a visit. I'm glad we went, but also wish we hadn't bothered. The walk up isn't that bad (not going the route of the donkey taxis), as long as you're reasonably fit, despite being a steep... More

Really enjoyed walking round even though it was busy and we got there fairly early. The steps up to it are steep and hard work especially if it is hot.

was advised to get to Lindos early to beat the tour buses, we arrived at 9am from Pefkos and followed the crowds as there were already 6 tour buses in the parking area(about 30 when we came out). we walked up to the Acropolis and found it very easy as we were expecting a hot climb. Donkeys are available for... More

Lindos Acropolis is located on the steep hill having a breath taking view of the little White City. Its Summer time and its pack with loads of tourist flocking up the castle. As lindos Town forbidden vehicle into the township, you need to walk relatively far to get up slope to the castle and its relatively steep. Thus there are... More

Despite what some reviews say, the walk to the top is fairly gradual and not to bad! I would definitely recommend going first thing in the morning as it gets EXTREMELY busy! But any time of day would be worth it! Personally, some of the repairs sort of take away some of the shine off it because its quite obvious!... More

We hired a car and went to lindos for the day. Whilst there we had to visit the acropolis. We climbed up the stairs through the little alleyways and it took about 15 minutes. It wasn't too tiring but the heat made it uncomfortable(33c). You can get a donkey ride up to the top but to me it seemed cruel... More
