Cosy, small town. Lot of shops with souvenirs, cafes etc. The most famous points are the beach and acropolis on the top of the hill. Bus from rhodes takes 1.5 hour to get here and cost 5 euro per person one way. It's 100% touristic place, but with really amazing views.

Similar to many other towns in the islands. Very touristic, but with great food and great people. Enjoyed the donkey ride up and down from the Acropolis. Seemed like a great deal and saved my 52 year old body from the extra work....felt bad for the donkey though, should have brought a carrot or Apple door him.

Beautiful traditional village which on the whole has not been spoilt but to much building .Lots of attractions such as the Acropolis and the churches and two beautiful beaches with plenty of sun beds .Pedalos and Kayaks are available on the larger beach and its waters are both calm and clear and very safe . The only down side I... More

Lindos is a short taxi ride away from Pefkos. We went in the evening to avoid the heat of the sun. As you get out of the taxi and look out over the sea, it is so beautiful. My daughter has to take about 50 photos before we go any further!!! There is a restaurant and bar as you go... More

My boyfriend and I went on a daytrip to Lindos and we absolutely loved it. The two beaches are both really beautiful with crystal clear blue water, the town itself is charming and filled with little white sugarcube houses and the Acropolis is amazing. If you like shopping for souvenirs this also seems very big in Lindos, not our thing... More

Brilliant restaurants with roof gardens, such a wonderful choice - not much in the way of karaoke etc., if that's your bag!

Very pretty village. Lots of shops and restaurants. Crowded with visitors. Very hilly and a difficult steep descent and climb back up to the main road as cars cannot go down to the centre. Don't visit on a Sunday as the bus that takes you down and back doesn't operate! Over commercialization rather spoils the beauty of the village.

wonderful trip, but didn't like to see the use of donkeys to take people up and down the steep hill. The village is beautiful and Lindos is well worth a visit.
