beautiful small period village with many tourist shops selling the usual gifts. The Archaelogical site on the summit has very impressive views but the actual remains where somewhat dis-appointing with some re-construction which detracts from the original effect. have seen much better remains in other areas

Beautiful small houses entwined in a maze of small narrow alleys with most if them transformed into shops or bars. Great town to visit - need to look closely over a few days to find the 'hidden gems'. The 'Lindos Taxi' is a donkey that can take you down to the beach and back up or even the acropolis the... More

I was in this beautiful little village of Rhodes just a few years before on summer vacation. The place is magnificent. I parked the car on the main road and went down to the city on foot. It is not so long away. The little village is built amphitheatrical and has narrow old fashioned-traditional roads full of restaurants, souvenir shops... More

if you are up for some uphill, downhill walking and the smell of donkey poop During the day between 9-5 pm tends to fill with outside tourists, gets crowded and lots of donkey riders after that it quiets down and I am very impressed by how they keep it clean and not so smelly quaint little stores with assorted souvenirs,... Lindos is an ancient village with archeological ruins & castle overlooking the whitewashed houses which are nestled into the mountain peak. Windy narrow streets will eventually bring you to the top. Many souvenir shops line the streets. When you are finished visiting the ruins & have done your shopping, you are ready to relax at one of the many cafés... More

Lindos is in the east of Rhodes. White houses with blue windows, narrow streets, and the landscape from the castle is fascinating. You can rent a car to go there or you can have a daily boat trip from Mandraki Port. Saint Paul's bay is the best place to swim. Enjoy

Set in a small valley dominated by the Acropolis and an Ancient theatre this pictoresque greek village ticks all the boxes: all white buldings, cobblestone small roads, stunning views, amazing beaches and crystal clear sea, donkeys, goats, lots and lots of cute cats and a host of greek ladies sitting out at night seeking some solace from the heat of... Full of character, no traffic except for donkeys in the day. All restaurants rooftop settings looking out yo the acropolis. Not good for people who have difficulty with steps thankfully not us. Try Lindos By Night for a cocktail & a dance with outstanding views.

For us the visit was somewhat disappointing, since the thought was that there was plenty of original Creek to be seen, with white and blue housing. None of this was present and the most exciting thing was donkey ride arranged to the Acropoli. I wouldn't go again.
