Very beautiful, just come back from staying in the Lindos View, its in a perfect position overlooking the acropollis. The only issue are some of the people who take a ride on the little donkeys up the very steep hill to the acropolis, one man in his late 30's, who looked very fit and weighed about 13 stone, got on... This is souvenir central. Streets are very narrow and crowded. Occasional excitement trying to avoid madmen on motorbikes who do not seem to care for tourists in the road. Nice, unusual bar at one place in the village. Couldn't remember where because the whole area became a maze after a while. Enjoyed a peaceful pint, then back into the bazaar.

Still the same after last visit in 1969. Sandy beach, waterfront tavernas, white cubist houses, donkeys to acropolis with Castle and Greek temple. Greece in a nutshell. Zito i Elladha!

Beautiful Place but very busy due to two large cruise ships based in Rhodes visiting by buses. Donkeys can save you the climb up to the Acropolis - but it is worth the effort.

The children will love accrossing the village by donkey. The St Paul beach is really lovely and the village charming.

The Village of Lindos is fine with a wide array of shops, tourist shops, jewellers, resturants,etc you could find everything that you would wish for in the town

Don't leave Rhodes before visiting Lindos, especially if you haven't visited Cycladic style islands in the past (Like Sifnos, Serifos etc). But even if you have, Lindos has a very different ambience that will take your breath away... Worth visiting the acropolis and the castle (not too many steps) but be there before 14:40 which is the closing time.

Beach beautiful. Streets tiny and difficult to walk if got mobility issues. Donkey ride to top if needed. Very hot and crowded but well worth the visit. Plenty of cafe and ice cream / drinks places.
