It seems everywhere you go on Rhodes people tell you how fantastic Lindos is and how you must visit there etc etc. So on our 3rd visit to Rhodes we finally decided to give it a go as it wasn't too far from our resort. Well it must just be me but I thought the place was terrible! Hugely congested,... More

Myself and my partner have stayed in Lindos about 14 times over the last 20 years. The village has a law banning modern buildings so it's a maze of traditional houses with narrow lanes a bit like a maze and no cars! We know our way around now but it's fun to watch the day visitors going round and round.... More

We stayed in Lindos from 5th to 12th April 2014. Our apartments had only reopened that day, and most of the restaurants had not reopened yet. The village was still quiet and most of the people were locals. During the week, more and more places were opening up, however we still had the beaches and the Acropolis almost to ourselves.... More

Post Card Perfect - Picturesque and simply beautiful little village. Loads of steep steps which makes it harder in warm weather. Lovely views from atop and loads of nice shops and restaurants... Enjoy !

There is nowhere I know that fills the senses like Lindos and it's acropolis.I dislike beaches filled with sunbeds and umbrellas but in early season the setting of the village against the bay and it's beach was simply breathtaking.

Although you could easily get lost in this maze, I had some of thr best food I've tasted in this Village. I would seriously recommend a visit to the Village of Lindos if you're close by. Not to be missed, especially for the food.

If you have a few hours to kill take a walk around Lindos through its small passageways where there are an abundance of shops, restaurants and bars. I would also suggest if you see something in a shop you like buy it, because if you continue chances are you won't find your way back to that shop. Plenty to see... More

We had been told that Lindos would be worth a visit, so we headed over to the town to see for ourselves. Although quite "pretty" with its white houses nestled against the flanks of a hill that tapers down to a beautiful bay we were disappointed to find that practically everything in town was still in hibernation - slowly, slowly... The heart and soul of Lindos is it's village, with dozens of shops, restaurants, tavernas and bars it is a wonderful place to walk around and enjoy somewhere to eat and relax. A lot of the restaurants have roof top dining all with amazing views of the area and most of the acropolis. We are planning our third trip back... More
