liked the quaint old world feel of the town lots of small shops with variety of goods disliked large crowds of tourists being bus,d in from 10am and did not agree with overweight tourists perched on top of donkeys being taken on steep uphill climb to visit the acroppolis

Lindos is a fairy-tale like little village. Its small houses seem to be made of white sugar cubes. : ) The shops, aligned all along the narrow, cobbled streets, invite you in whether to buy a souvenir or just admire the local products they have on display. If you get tired, you always have the choice to stop and enjoy... More

Spent a few hours in Lindos on our recent holiday to Rhodes and what a beautiful stunning little village. Unfortunately did not go to the acropolis due to unsuitable footwear (flip flops) it's ok going up very slippery on the way down so wear suitable shoes. However we spent a few hours in the village walking round the shops which... More

You can get easily lost in the narrow winding, and sometimes steep, streets with plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and beautiful scenery.

Liked: The winding, tiny streets covered with greenery for shade. Many rooftop restaurants/bars serving good quality Greek food, Mythos beer and cocktails. The views from every angle. Charming white village houses. Disliked: Donkeys with diarrhoea. Crowds in the streets and at the Acropolis at peak times. Ridiculous traffic jams around the tiny village square and junction leading to the main... More

Just wander around the little cobbled streets at you very own pace, take in the lovely atmosphere, stop off for a drink and buy some lovely bargains!

LIndos draws you in and seduces you... most visitors return year after year. Your sunbed is saved for you each day, year and year and you are remembered- great customer service A bustle that is good rather than over crowded.

All the best places seem to eventually become spoiled by tourism. But Lindos is still worth visiting. It was disappointing to see how tourism and a poor economy has turned it into more of a cliche than an authentic village. Avoid the main shops and go to local artisans. I bought a great piece of art from a man who... More

As we approached Lindos there was a beautiful view of the town from the hillside and it did look very picturesque. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of the visit. If you are lucky enough to find parking at the top of the hill you then have to follow a steep, busy, traffic clogged road to which descends into the town.... More

It is a wonderful touristic village, placed under a fortress at the basis of a hill, with fine beaches around. Its narrow streets are full of shops, restaurants and bars. If you see it firstly from far outside, you'll be impressed how unexpectedly large is inside.
