Beautiful scenic village to spend a day exploring. Be sure to visit a nice little cafe somewhere thru the maze of ivory white houses. Take a donkey ride up to the ruins and soak in some history. Amazing views all around.

Great place to visit. Has a wonderful setting in the bay with the acropolis as a back drop. There are many nice restaurants to eat in as well. We visited in october when the season was coming to an end and it was still busy in the morning but quite quiet in the evening which was great. I believe that... More

Tiny old Greek town, with tiny lanes, full of tourist shops and thousands of tourists..! All restaurants are roof tops,as all street level locations are dedicated to tourist shops.....one for every thousand tourists. Took a bus there, which was a pleasant and scenic drive, but like the City of Rhodes....the entire Island of Rhodes is one large tourist site. If you expect any 'Olde... More

it's like to turn back into the time, it seems to walk the streets of Achilles or Agamemnon .... well worth the visit in the old part of the city from where you can see a fantastic view .... you can't visit Rodos without see Lindos

Above the modern town rises the acropolis of Lindos, a natural citadel which was fortified successively by the Greeks, the Romans, the Byzantines, the Knights of St John and the Ottomans. It offers spectacular views of the surrounding harbours and coastline.

An interesting place to walk and shop. Tight tiny corridors take you back to another era. Great little food stalls and quality products on offer. And it's all right underneath the Lindos Acropolis

I alighted in Lindos, after bussing down from Rhodes CIty, and was awe-struck by its exquisiteness. On this second day of the new year, I had the whole place to myself apart from a smattering of locals. I imagine it could get overrun in the high season, but today it was magic. I hiked down into town and proceeded to... More

The prettiest of the villages on the Islands with its beautiful white houses standing in the shadows of the ancient acropolis and Castle of the Knights. Some fantastic bars and restaurants to visit. My favourites are Arhontiko Restaurant, Ambrosia, Tambaiako at St Pauls bay for food and Socrates Bar and Kollossus Bar to kick back and enjoy the evenings. All... More
