Great for coffee in teh afternoon!

We visited the castle's coffee on a June afternoon. Very nice atmosphere and a good variety of coffee, tea and cakes.

This palace was built in the 17th century and named after the second wive of duke Bernhard I. We went to see the building with our three children. If you go with children ask for the family entrance ticket, which saves you a lot of money and is also valid for other museums in Meiningen (for example, the theater). In... More

We were doing a house exchange not far from Meiningen and did several trips to explore the city. The fairly plain facade of the Schloss makes the treasures within all the more surprising. We enjoyed our visit here very much!
