A must-see romanic cathedral; one of the oldest in Spain. Visit the attached museum ! It is well maintained and preserved. Put coins to get light enough to watch around.
One of the best examples of early romanesque art in Spain and indeed Europe. It keeps most of its original structureThe quietness during the hours with no service, only rivals with the powerful organ music during the masses. Whether you are an art fanatic, a religious person or just someone that enoys beauty, this is certainly a place to visit,... More
I find romanesque churches to be much more powerful than the later gothic churches. The Cathedral of Jaca is one of the best examples of Romanesque architecture in Aragon.
One of the starting points of the Camino Santiago - looks very basic from the outside, but glorious vaulted ceilings inside - well worth a peek.
The cathedral is nothing special, but it houses the Diocesan Museum with a splendid collection of romanesque art.
Tenth century Cathedral.. On the old pilgrim route of santiago compostella in the city of Jaca. A MUST!!!!
