Welcome to our family-owned bodega, devoted to recovering the history of one of the world´s best known wine regions, famous from time immemorial for its fine wines. Over a decade ago we decided to "row upstream" and place our confidence in creating a unique red wine in a region dominated by white grapes. After an excellent premiere by our signature brands Garum, Samaruco and PetitVerdot, we´ve gone on to set ourselves new challenges. We have already developed a wine aged underwater in amphoras and have also made wines with ancient, regional varieties that had neared extinction, such as Tintilla and Palomino negro. Together with this, our first Jerez wine with natural alcohol content is already ageing in American Oak casks.

I booked the tour based upon the good TripAdvisor reviews and our expectations were exceeded! Our guide over 2 hours was Virginia who spoke excellent English and gave us an excellent tour of the winery. Three wines were available for tasting along with the excellent tapas. We liked the wine so much we chose the Garum at a local restaurant... More

Tipically when you think of Jerez, you think of a drink with a similar name. Well, this place does not have jerez, but they have some amazing unique region wine! I am not a red wine fan, but even I seriously enjoyed it - because when you drink it, you feel all the love, patience and inteligence locked in it.... More

We spent nearly two hours visiting the vineyards and tasting the wine. Virginia rios gave us an enthusiastic account of the winery's history and a fascinating insight into the creation of new and exciting wines using traditional methods.

Very enjoyable and informative tour. The staff were very friendly and enthusiastic about their bodega and its products. Wine tasting and tapas was amazing. Will revisit on my next trip to Jerez.

Based on the very good reviews on Tripadvisor and a TV show on Dutch television, which recommended the visit of Luis Perez' winery, we decided to arrange a visit. This was definitively a very good decision. The booking via email was easy and the contact very friendly. They send a description how to find the bodega and was also not... More

If you can, add a morning visit to Luis Perez at their Vistahermosa Ranch. It will be a highlight! An interesting tour of the grounds, overview of the thousands of years history of wine in the zone, followed by their great wines and tapas, all in a magnificent setting. The great care, knowledge, and pride that goes into the winemaking,... More

We wanted to organize an activity for our company. It was enjoyable and interesting for everyone, including our visiting American co-workers. Undoubtedly, Bodega Luis Perez has been a success, for the treatment, the professionalism and the ability to adapt to our needs. I would recommend them very much.

On a recent sherry-tasting tour to Jerez, we came across Bodegas Luiz Perez on TripAdvisor. I was curious to see if a winery making dry wines in Andalucia could succeed, but our very helpful guide, Virginia, assured us that dry wines in this area date back millenia. Founded ten years ago by a renowned sherry expert, this winery is very... More

We were recommended by a local wine shop in Conil to visit this winery. It was brilliant. The setting is magnificent, with panoramic views across the Andalusian countryside. The winery was established 10 years ago as a family business by Luis Perez who used to be in charge of development and research at the Domecq bodega in the centre of... More
