Beautiful sherry winery, with plenty tasting options, with or without food. Their wines are extremely good and special. Juan Mateos de Arizon's tour and welcoming is superb.

Lustau is a must see while in Jerez. This was so much more than just another sherry tasting! The bodega is rich in history and their wines are top quality for being one of the biggest exporters. They are very patient and not in any hurry - so my only recommendation is to have some almonds on hand in case... More

We really enjoyed our tour at the Lustau Bordega. The lady (name escapes me as it wasabout 5m ago) spoke very good English and was very knowledgable. Our group threw lots of questions at her and she answered them all properly. The tasting was also very good, no rushing and they were happy to discuss any further remarks or questions... More

A wonderful tasting that included around a dozen sherries ranging from bone dry Manzanilla to sweet and sticky (though not cloying) PX, three brandies and even sherry vineger. I ordered hald a dozen bottles to be shipped back to the UK which I'm eagerly lookin forward to. Recommended for sherry neophytes and the more experienced alike.

Having drunk sherry on and off for many years, but really seeing my parents drinking it, I had no idea how many different types there are and how radically different the processes for making it can be. The Lustau factory has a great atmospheric feel to it. The old warehouses or "ripening" facilities have an authentic feel and the guide... More

The best of the bodega tours that we went on. The process was well explained (in Spanish) and this small bodega is compact and interesting. At the end of the tour you get to try 8 sherries from fino to Pedro Jimenez. You get nuts and crisps with your drinks and you can have more than one glass of each... More

Not the most famous of sherry producers but certainly in the top 4. I have bought and drunk Lustau sherries in England for some 30 years, definitely a cut above the norm. Have now bought La Ina, one of the top commercial finos to add to their range. A great tour with a very experienced lady who knew her stuff... More

As a wine tour guide in the Loire Valley (France) I love to visit wine establishments when I travel out of our region. Our trip this autumn took us eventually - after an 18 hour drive - to Sherry country. We chose to visit Lustau, one of the finest producers of sherry, after reading the excellent book by Peter Liem... More

We were staying in Seville & caught the train to Jerez for the day, mainly to do a tour of a bodega. We decided on Lustau as there seemed to be broad agreement that they offered the best tasting experience. We did not book but walked straight there from the station (around a 10 - 15 minute easy stroll). The... More

We booked this tour through the tourist information office in the centre of town having been told by a local that it would major on the tasting rather than production. We started with a tour of the large church like warehouses where the sherries (in barrels) are matured. Our guide gave a full explanation of the production process, the different... More

Our experience: 1. Sent reservation request via the website. No reply. 2. Telephoned to make a reservation. No explanation of why no acknowledgement of our enquiry. 3. Arrived as instructed for the 1.00pm tour. 20 minutes later, still waiting. 4. Female guide finally arrives. She tells the family who are waiting with us that their children will have to pay...
