My travel partner is a design enthusiast and the aim was to the the summer house (you can only see it on a guided tour, so do your research), but I had a great time as well! The museum is just the right size to not be overwhelming and the exhibitions were intriguing and striking. When we visited there was... More

A little pilgrimage to the Arne Jacobsen holiday home, it was a brief and very worthwhile stop. Lovely surroundings and the former home of the famous architect / furniture designer was surprising.

Trapholt lies on to Kolding fjord, so the view from the museum is spectaculary. The museum itself is quit big, but also looks (on the inside) as a concrete house from the 80. Not that charming. The round extention is an exeption and when you arrive, it looks very nice. When we where there, ther where around 4 exibithions....maby 5-6.... More

Trapholt is my favorite museum I have ever visited. While I found the furniture exhibits interesting, I preferred the modern art exhibits offered in the attached building. I could have spent a week here and remained interested. This museum is where I fell in love with the Controversies in Art exhibit and I will never forget my experience here!

Interesting exhibitions and art(i)s(ts). It is well worth buying the package with the brunch spread. Very nice and atmospheric.

Well, the place IS Danish, so it was to be expected. Intriguing well-placed modern architecture, labrinth-like interior, lots of thought-provoking fine art and design, and for those younger art fans: “touch and discover”. If you don’t like what you see you can arrange your own exhibition and show it to the world. If you do like what you see you... More

This is my 2nd visit to Trapholt, and also this time it got too dark and too late to get around Arne Jakobsen’s summerhouse. Trapholt has a catchy exhibition about the theme talent and 10,000 hours of practice to become an expert. It was a new aspect on artists and talent for me. I find it interesting and entertaining raising... More

…. which shows the steady, SMART, iand nteresting hand directing the gallery's offerings. We saw the "Antibodies" exhibit in July '14 - furniture made from non-traditional materials - among the fantastic Danish designs, and pop music professional photos exhibit. Totally absorbing, we particularly loved the 'Antibodies' exhibit - so much that we bought the catalog. Also, one of the most... More

Trapholt is a modern and interesting gallery. When we visited they had several good exhibits. It was obviously a professional level to what they did and I can recommend the art and design enthusiasts to visit them.
