interesting

It was interesting but could have been better If there was more English-language translations. We had a horse and carriage ride which I enjoyed.

Proved to be a little disappointing buildings are very spread out and massive majority are farm buildings which do become a bit repetitive. Whilst it tries hard and has some enjoyable aspects compared to St Fagens in Cardiff for example it lacks interest

Ideal large playground for kids of all ages. For adults: if you're interested in history and want to see how non-city folk lived somewhat 150-200 years ago, this is the place to be. 100+ historical houses that show how this were done in "the olden days". There's also a part that focuses on the sixties. Lots of different events during... More

If you didn't visit the site of Bokrijk, you didn't visit Limburg. You can enjoy the real live of countrypeople and farmers hunderd of years ago. In the one room houses, one with the stables you feel the warmt of cows, sheep and goats. Everything is Original and restored. You will find there as well fast food as average restaurants.... More

Really nice place - a lots of room (which you normally don't have in Belgium :)) and fresh air. The area and the buildings are well maintained and it was a really nice to walk around there. We didn't go very deep into every exhibit/museum piece but still we could manage to spend the whole day there. Of course the... More

We love this park with it's beautiful old houses. In some of the houses people live as they lived 150 years ago, nice to see the way they lived. There is a small school, the priest holds a sermon and the policeman is there to punish the "bad" guys. There are "arguments" in the village centre as reenactments. Fun to... More

We are Canadian's visiting. We spent a day visiting Bokrijk it was absolutely wonderful. This time of year it is quiet and not as active as in the summer but all the staff were very informative and happy to explain their area. All the animals had just arrived so it was nice to have that. If you do not speak... More

It was excellent weather, so we had a fun day out. But I can imagine that it's much less fun when it rains. I love the nature at Bokrijk, it's great to just walk arround. Even if you don't visit the houses.

We went there on Friday afternoon. There were little tourists. We were able to walk at leisure under good weather. The houses and contents on display were interesting - appeared to be authentic. We were assured all displays were in their respective original state but physically moved and reconstructed there. In certain locations we saw staff stressed in period costumes... More
