The so called open air museum is closed!!! It's mentioned everywhere in the city about this attraction, but only in one place on there website and at the gate of the museum few hundred meters inside the park that it's closed during winter, need to give more info. Other than that the park and plants are very nice.

It's at 2 kilometers from home. So we go there often with bicycle. Nice place to sit in the sun. But i wouldn't pay 5 € for a parking place.

The restaurant has a nice terrace... More

The open air museum brings you to another time. Great place for children, Big playground, a lot of festivals in the summer, relaxing in nature and having a meal or cup of coffee.

We arrived here on a beautiful sunny day and decided to amble round the medieval village and its houses, windmill, we thought this was great although my teenagers were a little bored... Until we found the old games to try, stilts and other wooden throwing skills ... Also a go at archery and making some 'love and courage' potions, old... More

My first visit dates back to the seventies, and many visits have followed, the latest on May the 1st of this year, actually triggered by a "side show" event centered around gardening. After a kind of a "dip" during the nineties, due to lack of funding, when the little money had to be spent on replacing mouldy timbers, and planned... More
