A great place for a family outing with both teenagers and young children. The facilities are wonderful. The front half managed by interpretative guides while the second half has all staff in character. A fascinating walk back in time. People are happy, homes and buildings beautifully kept and the livestock all very well cared for by people who obviously love... More

A typical pioneer village with great interaction for the kids. In costume characters are great. Very educational. Down side they won't let dogs in so on a very hot day our whole family could not go in. There's no reason dogs couldn't go in as its outdoors. Too bad.

A must visit living museum. Allow enough time as 3 hours was insufficient particularly even without stopping at Kings Head Inn for a meal. Did manage a quick beer. Take the horse drawn carriage to the Inn from the entrance.. Really enjoyed talking to the residents of the village who remained in 19 th century character and found out so... More

We went there on a Saturday and had great time. The workers where great and would go out of there way to interact with our young kids. It felt like we where walking through history. It is something we will for sure do again over and over.

An awesome experience walking through history. Its an actual town with people in period costume. You get to go into each home and go upstairs and down. Very few areas are roped off. Countless different homes, lives, and jobs to explore. There is a period restaurant, tavern, and general store on the property. You travel to the town down a... More

We split in to two groups and were taken on a tour of the village. we stopped and spoke to merchants, blacksmiths, printers and carpenters on a trip back in time when was life was simple but very hard. Excellents guides, great experience.

From when we first entered, the staff/guides/actors were friendly, helpful and full of wonderful information about the attraction/museum. They have worked hard to keep it as authentic as possible. History really comes to life here. The gift shops are stocked with various souvenirs. There is also a restaurant and pub on site. We loved seeing and clapping the animals too.... More

Amazing trip at King's landing. I and my boyfriend went to this place in June. We had learnt a lot about the daily day in 1800s. The staffs are very friendly. One of the best village I ever seen !

This is a great place to have fun with your kids and learn something at the same time. The staff were very friendly and interactive. It was great to see new historical houses open compared to previous years, and for the addition of props for the kids to use and play with. My daughter especially loved playing with the tea... More
