I can't believe I have never been before !! The day was beautiful and everything was so interesting . They have a horse that can take you from the welcome centre to the working village and back which was nice . The houses are in great shape and the people in the village are very kind . The view of... It was really neat to go back into the 1800s and see how life was back then. It was very hot the day we were there, and the poor actors having to work by fires all day, they are dedicated! Half of the property is set up as modern day guides and museum houses, while the other half is fully... More

What a great place to spend the day. The workers are willing to talk about their daily lives ( they live in the 1800's) So lots to learn. The homes are sparse and bare to big and beautiful! A couple of the homes had freshly baked desserts for us to try! One cooked over an open fire, one in an... More

Seriously brings you back. Those people who work there are serious about the parts they are given. I'm going back for sure next year and the year after that. Keep it up.

My family and I spent the day at Kings Landing and had a blast. Even my 4 y.o. daughter had a wonderful time walking around and exploring all the amazingly well preserved buildings and artifacts. There was enough to do that we probably could have spent twice as much (or more) time there. We also had lunch in the King's... More

What a great place to visit, especially on a perfect summer day. The people were very accommodating, the gardens lush and we appreciated all the information provided. We spent 5 hours here and I was reluctant to leave. Terrific job at showing what it was like to live in this era!

Kings Landing is a neat place to visit if you want to take a blast to the past. Village depicts life from 1890-1910. They have live actors throughout the village (which is quite large). They each depict a character from the original area - the owners of the homes located on site. There is lots of free parking on site... More
