If you are planning to visit the region then visiting Kings Landing is a must!! We had a blast especially our son who is 8, he made a bookmark at the print shop, we dressed up in local costumes and attended the 1pm class at the school. The teacher was very strict and gave us a lot of homework to... More

I make an annual trip to Kings Landing with my cousins and friends and get my additional fix for everything past when we get together for The very special Christmas dinner at the boars Head Inn. I think I must have had an ancestor that lived and love the simpler hard working times because the love of old methods of... More

I had driven past Kings Landing dozens of times but never seemed the right moment to visit. Recently, I made a special trip there with my brother, his wife and my sister. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and appreciated the attention to detail, the excellent condition of the buildings, furniture, implements, gardens, paintings and photographs. The men, women and children in character portraying real... More

We went on a day trip to King's Landing from Moncton, NB. One way was just over 2 hours. It was a beautiful day and well worth the trip. My 8 yr old daughter loved it. She had a great time doing some of the kids activities, dressing up in period costumes and printing a book mark in the print... More

We took our two kids, age 6 & 10 to King's Landing. We are a military family, but military id wasn't accepted, but our rec passes were. The rec pass enables you to get in free, of course being on vacation we didn't have them with us :) The family entrance fee with tax was around $46. We all learned... More

Very interesting open-air museum, with folk in period costume re-acting the lives of Canadians of the time. Well worth a visit.

The settlement was absolutely wonderful. It was the first day open after Tropical Storm Arthur. A few of the people weren't there which was understandable. Everyone seemed to be in good spirits and in character. It was interesting to learn about the settlement, and there were lots of animals to see and pet. The only disappointment was lunch at the... This recreated town and outlying farms and homes was a great way to spend the afternoon. The costumed interpretation of the workers was great. Everyone was friendly and outgoing involving visitors and treating them as if they were visiting in their time. It even has a nice restaurant in the village to have a nice relaxing lunch.

We had never heard of this, however, we were recommended to go there by our campground, My Brothers Place. We are really glad we went. The village was very realistic and there was a restaurant that had great food and drink. With or without children it is a great place to visit. The cost is very minor compared to the... More

This is an amazing collection of historical buildings from the surrounding area, and the park is well operated. We arrived about about 11 am and left when it closed at 5 pm, but still did not see the entire park. It is very extensive. We had lunch at the 1800's restaurant, where we were served by costumed pioneers. What surprised... More
