The settlement was absolutely wonderful. It was the first day open after Tropical Storm Arthur. A few of the people weren't there which was understandable. Everyone seemed to be in good spirits and in character. It was interesting to learn about the settlement, and there were lots of animals to see and pet. The only disappointment was lunch at the... This recreated town and outlying farms and homes was a great way to spend the afternoon. The costumed interpretation of the workers was great. Everyone was friendly and outgoing involving visitors and treating them as if they were visiting in their time. It even has a nice restaurant in the village to have a nice relaxing lunch.

We had never heard of this, however, we were recommended to go there by our campground, My Brothers Place. We are really glad we went. The village was very realistic and there was a restaurant that had great food and drink. With or without children it is a great place to visit. The cost is very minor compared to the... More

This is an amazing collection of historical buildings from the surrounding area, and the park is well operated. We arrived about about 11 am and left when it closed at 5 pm, but still did not see the entire park. It is very extensive. We had lunch at the 1800's restaurant, where we were served by costumed pioneers. What surprised... More

This is a wonderful place to relax and saunter, enjoying the realistic lifestyle of the 1800's. It is truly a "Living Museum" with something for everyone to enjoy. The smells of the ladies cooking in the homes, the school in action with the children, the working mills, the animals, gardens, churches, blacksmith shop, wagon rides, general store, this is a... Make the effort - just make the effort........this historical settlement complete with period people who actually know and are passionate about the history make this both an enjoyable and educational esperience. Set in the 1800's, a number of the buildings have been relocated but they are period 1800 and the natural setting is just beautiful. Entry cost is more than... More

I visited Kings landing as part of a tour of New Brunswick a couple of weeks ago and was impressed at how well laid out the site is. It is a recreation of life in NB in the 1800's and many of the buildings were taken down from their original locations and re erected here stone by stone. The site is... More

I have been visiting Kings Landing Historical Settlement since I was a little girl. I even went to their summer camp, Visiting Cousins twice when I was a child. It's a fantastic complete real village set in the 19th century over many acres of land with a river in between. The volunteers are amazing, dressing in period costume and acting... More

Kings Landing Historical Settlement was easy to find. Restaurant located at the same exit. The place was very nice and interesting. When you first arrive you go into a typical gift shop with some antique furniture from that period (1840) on display. When you leave the gift area you step back in time. Everyone is dressed for that period. The... More
