Farm visit

An added treat to my visit, farm easily accessible, variety of animals, not just the cow and chicken. Emus and goats as well.

A nice walk around to see a nice collection of barnyard animals including some rare animals; like a zebra striped "donkey." A nice walk around to view the animals and best of all, its free. On the grounds is the North Light Fibers.

This is close to down town. Good for kids and adults. Several exotic animals in a large enclosed area. The property needs some work. The grounds are not impressive, but it is a unique place to visit on the island.

It's worth stopping to see this petting zoo. From bison to ostriches, this place has it all. You can purchase cups of critter chow for the beasties. They'll come running.

Our favorite attraction on Block Island. It was fun seeing alpacas, chickens, an ox, a Zonkey, 2 black swans, goats, a turtle, 4 horn sheep and other birds. We made a donation to get some food to feed the huge Ox - Junior and it was great . Make sure you have time to look in the little shop and... More

This little petting zoo is more for watching its camel and other unusual "residents." Its a 5-minute like up the road and hill from the village. Great for all of us kids, young in mind.

When I went there were not many animals out - if you had youngs kids it would be worth letting them check it out but didn't interest me

I happened through the animal farm while taking a short cut up to the Atlantic hotel. It was a pleasant surprise. The giant tortoise gave me a grin.

Don't blink or you will miss the entrance to this very special animal farm. A mixture of unusual animals peacefully coexisting in a variety of pens and pasture.
