Don't get me wrong the beach is pristine and has much to offer. But there is nothing there. No bar, no bathrooms and no showers. State Beach Pavilion is crumbling before our eyes, no plumbing old dirty shack.

Walked the beach after a night time rain storm. Wonderful surf. Great sand for walking. Great view. Love this beach

A long sandy beach where you can literally walk miles. Good for swimming or sand castles. Nice waves but gradual drop off. No life guards so swim accordingly.

Very nice beach with a fair amount of parking. There was a portapotty and lots of soft sand. The surf could get rough, but was gentle the day we were there.

This beach is easily accessible from Corn Neck Road. We had bikes and took it slow to navigate a somewhat rough dirt road. Parking is available at the beach. Once there, we strolled north about a mile to the cliffs. The beach gets rocky there but can still be easily walked. Best is close to low tide, for lots of... More

Beautiful beach, soft sand, clean, warm water, peaceful setting. Great for flying a kite or making sand castles with the kids.

Followed the map to find this beach and so glad we did. Beach is long and flat, easy to walk for long distances. Beach was clean and sand was fine. Plan to go back again when we have our beach chairs!

A beautiful wide beach that is exceptionally clean. Enjoy unobstructed views of miscellaneous water craft going in and out of Old Harbor. Shells and sea glass can be found as the tide changes.

This is definitely not my favorite beach. It's crowded, and too many people bring dogs and don't clean up after them. Also, it seems to attract the stinging type of jellyfish. The parking is abysmal and inadequate. It would be a lot better if there were a refreshment stand and maybe a jet ski rental place. On the other hand,... More
