Great Swimming at Mansion Beach

This is a beautiful beach with crystal clear waters. There were many families enjoying the cool breezes and waters of Mansion Beach last Saturday.

A group of us went out to Mansion beach. A bit out of the way and get there early as there is limited parking. But the beach was clean, the waves were big with a lot of people using boogie boards. The only downside is there are no bathrooms. Best bet is go early in the morning, leave around noon... More

We were there on a cold gray day, so warm days are probably different, but this is a very nice beach somewhat remote from most of the others -- would love to see what it is like on a warm day.

This hidden beach gem of block island is a must stop for anyone looking for a great beach spot. This pristine spot is much less traveled compared to Cresent beach and just as nice. There's no facilities but to me, that makes it even better.

This is one of the best beaches in New England. The crowds and day-trippers to Block Island rarely make it beyond town beach so Mansion Beach is for homeowners and two week renters on the island. Many such as my wife and I have been coming for a generation. It is beautiful. We recommend coming between 4-6 pm as it... More

The beach has soft sand and a beautiful view. There are great waves and you can find shells, colorful rocks, and driftwood.

We had many great beach days during out stay on Block Island. My son loved hunting for crabs and my daughter lover the huge waves. The weather was perfect in late August. Not too hot with amazing breeze. This was our first trip to RI and we will be back.

My husband and I first visited Mansion Beach in June 2014 and again in September. We absolutely love this beach. It's about a 15-20 minute bike ride from Water Street and well worth the trip. The water and beach are so clean and it doesn't seem to get as crowded as Scotch Beach. In the summer when you walk down... More

We biked here, and it was well worth the workout. Very quiet, not crowed gorgeous beach. Water and beach were so clean. We enjoyed a few hours soaking in the Rhode Island Sun. Def a must see on your visit.

Beautiful quiet beach, out of the mainstream for beach goers on Block Island. There is nothing not to like. Just remember there are no facilities there.
