The innocence of Mansion Beach can not be found on any other beach on the island. It is a bit of drive but worth it for sure. The sand is soft and pristine, the water is crystal clear with a nice current for waves. It is great for families with children, both young and old) as there are no rocks... More

Beautiful beach with amazing waves! The water was glorious with little to no current. Soft sand, few rocks and very little seaweed. Walking towards the cliffs brings you to an area where there are many hermit crabs to see in the water. Lots of families here, lovely spot!

While many visitors to Block Island go to Fred Benson Beach closer to town, Mansion beach is a true gem. It's off the main road and not as easily found, but it's my favorite beach on Block Island. The beach is more rustic, meaning there's no lifeguards on duty, so you're on your own. There's no bathroom facilities or a... More

I loved Mansion Beach. My husband and I had mopeds which we parked on the beginning of Mansion Rd. We actually enjoyed the walk down the road. Its so peaceful!! The lady at the moped place told us not to go because it was a "loooong walk." We did not listen and loved the 8 minute walk down the beach.... More

This is a beautiful beach with crystal clear waters. There were many families enjoying the cool breezes and waters of Mansion Beach last Saturday.

A group of us went out to Mansion beach. A bit out of the way and get there early as there is limited parking. But the beach was clean, the waves were big with a lot of people using boogie boards. The only downside is there are no bathrooms. Best bet is go early in the morning, leave around noon... More

We were there on a cold gray day, so warm days are probably different, but this is a very nice beach somewhat remote from most of the others -- would love to see what it is like on a warm day.

This hidden beach gem of block island is a must stop for anyone looking for a great beach spot. This pristine spot is much less traveled compared to Cresent beach and just as nice. There's no facilities but to me, that makes it even better.

This is one of the best beaches in New England. The crowds and day-trippers to Block Island rarely make it beyond town beach so Mansion Beach is for homeowners and two week renters on the island. Many such as my wife and I have been coming for a generation. It is beautiful. We recommend coming between 4-6 pm as it... More

The beach has soft sand and a beautiful view. There are great waves and you can find shells, colorful rocks, and driftwood.
