The nicest stretch of beach on the island. There is a parking lot and pavilion at the town beach. We visited after the building had been closed for the season but two portapotties were available for use.

We had to dinghy over to dinghy beach and then crossed over the road to Scotch Beach. This beach was so beautiful, the water was so clear, great waves, you could boogie board if you wanted and it felt so safe. I am so chicken when it comes to swimming at the ocean especially when there is an undercurrent but... More

I enjoyed very much spending some time at the beach. The beaches in that area are very clean and beautiful and I recommend going during the week to be able to enjoy it wholy.

Great hang after the beach house closes...after dark!! Its a zoo during the summer, but there are usually life guards...and food...but it cost a fortune.

This beach and entire block island felt overhyped to me. The island is beautiful, yes but in the end i wasnt sure if its worth the price and time of ferry etc to get there. It was quite a walk from the ferry terminal with toddlers with us and the water was really cold during insependence day weekend. Had trouble... More

This beach is on the quieter side, but very nice. At night you can see the beautiful sunsets from here, while sitting and enjoying the peace and quiet. This beach was within a short walk from our inn, and very clean.

The Town Beach is a great setting. The waves are big enough to body surf but not too big. Once you are seated under the umbrella it is tough not to relax to the calming sound of the wave action and the gentle breeze. I am not a beach person and I spent 6 hours there today. Facility has food... More
