Loved our looong walk through the trails of Rodman's Hollow. It was absolutely beautiful and secluded and peaceful. Be careful though - got my first tick bite here and ended up with Lyme Disease. It's terribly prevalent on the Island (which I still love), apparently. Use extra precautions and do tick checks!

A nice enough trail through the woods but nothing especially distinctive. There is parking for about 10 cars

This was another beautiful trail well worth taking through fields and woods leading you to another beautiful shoreline with amazing views. It was a clear enough day to see to Long Island.

We biked here with my 10 & 11 yr olds. I recommend driving its a little out of the way but there are choke berries, mulberries and wild raspberries to be eaten. We just went july 5th and another week or two berries everywhere. Nice hike!

A short easy hike in Nature. The smell of the wild roses was worth the trip alone! Lots of birds and insects to see.

Love, love, love Rodman's Hollow. We have been taking this walk every time we come to Block Island, at least once every year for over 10 years. The terrain has changed a lot, in that trees along the path are being assaulted by some kind of caterpillar. We see some trees weak but others have been able to fight it.... More

We have visited this a few times and we will go back again! Good paths but some rough terrain...I wouldn't try to bike it but many people do. The views are great once you get toward the ocean, but the views along the trails are wonderful too. Beautiful flowers and birds, etc.

If you like nature and gentle, beautiful walks this is a great place to visit. My husband I rented a scooter and drove to Cooneymus Rd where we parked our bike and set off for a several mile easy, beautiful hike. We walked a large loop through and around Rodman's Hollow. There are many short paths as well. You don't... More

We started at Fresh Pond, hiked from there to Rodman's Hollow, and then down to Black Rock beach. The hike is nice, though it can be a little confusing (ok, we walked in a circle twice), so we resorted to googlemaps to get through the Hollow. When you come to the end of the trail, there's an outlook on the... More

This is a very special place. It's a pristinely natural rough trail through the native trees, berry bushes and flower fields of Block a Island that goes all the way to the towering bluffs on the south side of the island spectacular. Well worth the hour or two spent here. Go.
