Photograph beautiful vistas overlooking the bluffs. The lighthouse itself is very interesting and well maintained, though we couldn't go up to the light.

A nice place to get away from the crazy summer crowds and have a picnic. Can be foggy but provides gorgeous views of the ocean.

This is definitely something to see on Block Island. My husband and I biked to the lighthouse. It was quite the workout biking to it, but the lighthouse offers lots of green lawn on which to relax and there is a food truck there called "SouthEast Light Delights." So cute. We had a refreshing Del's lemonade before we biked back... More

Visited this site on a group tour. Driver let us stay as long as we wanted. Gorgeous view. Interesting history (as told by bus driver). Worth seeing!

A great place to visit with wonderful views. You can also see the new Windmill Farm that is being built off the island. The building looks like it has a lot of wonderful history.

I actually really enjoy light houses and learning all about their history. So I thought going here was fascinating. I believe you can pay for a tour. We did not. The view is beautiful as is the light house itself.

We have a timeshare on Block Island for Thanksgiving week. Since this is off season, the lighthouse is no longer open for tours. It is, however a terrific photo location, especially at sunrise.

This historic lighthouse is undergoing a continuing restoration of the Lighthouse Keeper's quarters. You get a peek of these by paying for a tour, which proceeds all go back to the restoration fund. It is a fantastic experience, I highly recommend! In the summer, I would go early in the day as the top of the lighthouse gets VERY hot.

Great place to visit. Awesome views. Really interesting history. Starting to get a bit rundown from what I rememeber it being when the USCG ran it.
