We renter a moped to vis it the Nluff aND the lighthouse. We heard that this was the lighthouse to see on the island. The lighthouse was pretty but you couldnt go inside because it was being renovated, so that was disappointing. I live on long Island and I have visited, and been spoiled by the MONTAUK POINT LIGHT HOUSE!... More

Rented a moped and visited the lighthouse early in the day. Not a lot of mopeds out yet so the ride was beautiful! The lighthouse is amazing but will be under some construction. They are adding an Inn to it. You feel like you are on top of the world. Certainly worth seeing. They also have potalets at the beginning... More

This is one of the must stops as you tour of Block Island. The grounds are pretty with a nice breeze and great spots for photos with a view of the ocean. The lighthouse has a fee to climb to the top.

The lighthouse was pretty and the view of the ocean was nice. We did not climb up though. There was a food truck with beverages and food. Water was 3.25 a bottle since they know people are thirsty from hiking and we had finished all the water we brought. I recommend buying lemonade from the nice residents along the way... More

A nice spot to visit, but honestly, I'm not sure if it was worth the ride over from town. You can tour the grounds for free, but they wanted us to pay to go inside, so we elected to pass on that. Still, it was nice to be able to get up close to the lighthouse because many of them... More

You have to pay to go to the top - as with most lighthouses. We paid and did the 10 minute tour. Got some great pictures at the top and learned some awesome history about the building process and who lived in it.

I've seen quite a few lighthouses and to me this one is very eh. I am a picture person and what disappointed me about this lighthouse is to get a good shot of it (the way it's facing) you simply get the lighthouse and no beautiful ocean behind you. Most of the lighthouses I've been to are on a small... More

Beautiful area, we were able to view part of the Mohegan Bluffs from here. Staff was a bit snippy when asking about the tour, and didn't seem to want to be bothered.

What a great example of a Victorian Lighthouse. It's an interesting place too, a small museum inside. The views from the grounds are so beautiful. There's a food truck here it would a great idea to have a picnic here. We go every time!

Located at a good place is this historic lighthouse. We cycled around in Block Island and this is the first place to visit among the list of things to see. You can have a little peak of the Mohegan Bluffs from there, another place that you should visit. It has a beautiful view indeed.
