Just spent an amazing day at Jinny ring with friends So many very individual things to see and buy. From handmade jewellery/chocolate/glassware to violins and oil paintings. At many of these the craftsmen can be seen producing their wares. We saw jewellery and an amazing glass blowing demo yesterday. We then went on a well signposted walk around the countryside... More

Another wonderful home cooked meal at the Jinney Ring. two courses for £12 in the week. Huge portions. We had steak and ale pie, chips and veg, followed by banoffee pie. Huge and delicious...we didn't eat again until breakfast! The staff are really friendly. And work hard. The setting is idyllic and we had a wander around the craft shop... More

The Jinney Ring centre is a small busy craft centre with Glass blowing (Great to watch) and a violin maker as well as many other skills. It is small and probably only worth a visit a couple of times a year, although they do occasionally have some extra activities going on behind the main buildings.

Thank you for your nice review. Glad you enjoy it here and pleased you mentioned the other activities - we have a very busy year ahead with festivals, fayres and sculpture trail to name a few. More

Loved the Lemon Tree for beautiful soaps and cremes, all natural and organic. Also the chocolate shop for hadn made and beautifully presented chocolates - great for a gift. Hat shop, glass blowing, jewellery, the craft/art/clothes shop were good too, and the restaurant really nice

what a surprisingly packed centre with lots to see. Glass blowing was amazing! Beautifully crafted jewellery, chocolates to die for.... and the tearoom was tastefully decorated modern within an old barn! A well matched combination and serving wonderful food.

Thank you for your review. You are right we are certainly not a large place, but many have described us as a "little gem!" More

A pleasant enough little place with adequate parking and nice views with Hanbury church up on the hill nearby. The craft shops are OK and the cafe is fine. When the weather's good it's very nice to sit outside close to the lake and take in the peace and quiet of the area. There are good walks in the area... More

Last week I learned how to create the perfect Christmas wreath at a workshop run by Wagon House Gardens. Dean was our patient, humorous teacher and Johanna our support when she spotted we were hesitating. Never imagined I would be able to create something so beautiful, so much to my own taste - it's stunning. There are other fantastic and... More
