We played golf. The layout is thoughtful and scenic, but the course- especially the fairways- are suffering from a lack of investment, which is understandable given budget cuts. Some of the holes are really picturesque, especially the par 3 18th

Excellent place to go for a family outing. All ages are catered for £1.30 to get into the Zoo and conservatory which is excellent value. All other areas are free. Great place to go for a picnic and leisurely walk. Cafe is very reasonably priced for a cake(slice of lemon cake £1.20) and a coffee.

A brilliant park with everything you could want for a day out. There is a very large play area as well as a small one; an excellent zoo; a cafe and loads of walks and green spaces.

Great walk after lunch with the family. Spent many summer days here as a child. Lots of family live in East Kilbride and Strathaven still and enjoy the park regularly. I live overseas now.

I had not been to Calderglen Park for some years. I had never been at the zoo and conservatory area before and thoroughly enjoyed it. The entry was only £1.30 which was excellent value. The entry to the park itself is free if you just fancy a stroll. The park's free leaflet had a good map, which signposted you well to... More

Calderglen is very interesting for all the family. It has a wide variety of things to do. There is a small zoo, play park, restaurant and an art gallery. It was very good value for the money - only £1.30 per adult for the zoo and kids go free. The toilets were clean, the food was all home baked and... More
