I've lived in EK since 1974 and Calderglen was always a jewel in the crown, but sadly no more. The whole park is crying out for help. Rubbish, badly maintained paths. half the park is now closed. Maybe if they spent a million fixing what was already there instead of building another swing park it might come back to its... More

Went here on a lovely afternoon to visit the zoo and grab something to eat. £1.20 entry fee to the zoo which was great value for money. Lots of parking and a lot of open area if anyone was to take kids. We also went to the courtyard cafe which which put a bit of a dampner on things. We... More

I visit Calderglen at leat twice a week with my dog. It's a great place to walk her. There are many different paths to keep it varied. Unfortunatley part of the far side of the trail is closed because of rock fall. Sadly, this looks like it's permenent as there has been a significant new fence put up to block... More

Calderglen is on our doorstep what a gift. Great open space for family pic nics and woodland walks. The mini zoo is also fab for young kids, my son never got bored of visiting. Nice wee sand park that the kids adore, my son loves the zip slide.

Calderglen park is a great place for a day out with the family or just walking the dog. Loads of space with busy bits for the kids and quiet walks.

We've visited here twice now - once in February and once in July and found it to be a great day out both times. It's such good value for money, so good to see so many different species in such beautiful and tranquil surroundings. It's really well maintained, everything;s very clean and there's a lovely picnic area. We brough a... More
