We spent ages going round the zoo, which has many small animals, birds and fish.We then visited the playpark, which has a sandpit, climbing frames, helterskelter, and much more to keep the children occupied. We enjoyed a walk through the woods and also... If you have children and not sure what to do, then you have your answer! I could go on and on about the things to do, but I shall not - FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF - you will not regret it! My wife and I enjoy the walks and sit for an hour just watching the water fall and enjoying... More

Visited here as was visiting family and had a spare half a day. Value for money. Think it cost is under £3 for 2 adults and a child. We got a space map and played that as we walked around. We also waited till it was animal feeding and went and fed the animals and the children got to feed... More

As parks go, this has it all. Open spaces for games, picnic tables, lots of free car parking, playgrounds - the options are all there. Add in the birds and animals and a super cafe and you have a brilliant place for a day that all the family will love.

A zoo with lovely gardens (kids are free, small £1.25 fee per adult). Once in, there are crafts and animal feeding sessions too. The rest of the park is great, with climbing frames and slides for kids, sand to play in. We sat outside for a cuppa but there is a wee cafe as well. Plenty of free parking as... More

We enjoyed looking at the different varieties of animals. We then made our way to the children's play area which my 9 year... More
