I thought Calderglen Park was very interesting, especially for children. It only costs about £1.30 per person to get in. The park it self was kept clean and tidy, but the toilet facilities could be a bit better. The cafe was busy, the food and drink were lovely but a bit pricey. The animals and birds were great to look... More

Great day out. There's a small petting zoo which keeps the children entertained enclosed in some beautifully kept grounds. The walls are great, particularly if you have a dog. These walls aren't particularly pram friendly but there's a toddler park and a park for older kids. Loads of parking and there's always something going on.

Went here on a whim, and glad we did. They have various small animals and birds and at only £1.20 to get in it was worth it and the gift shop wasn't extortionate like most places.

Calderglen has so much beauty all year round. Take your children, go with your patten or friends, go alone - I always discover something new. Forest and River and nature all in the middle of suburbia. Definitely worth a visit. You can also follow the path right through out to Langlands Moss, which I would also recommend.

Ive stayed in East Kilbride since 1988 and visited this park on more occasions than i care to remember. Its great place to take the kids to see the small zoo on the grounds and take a leisurely walk around the extensive grounds of this undulating park. I may be biased as I'm from EK but have some great memories... More
