Fair prices, unfriendly staff both on ice and in the cafe, average standard of the ice in the rink and a fun night out with limited music variation

After visiting Guilford Ice Rink, we decided to try the Bracknell Ice Rink at the John Nike Leisure Complex. To say it was unnerving is an understatement. There do not seem to be any rules about the way people behave on the ice. It was rather disturbing and was not a pleasant experience. The more accomplished skaters show little or... More

I have been going to this local rink for years but it has always been dirty and in need of an update - first went when I was 18 and am now 39 - I am not sure the toilets have been cleaned in the 20 years!! Would only let my kids go in there when completely desperate. Ice fine... More

Had a great time with the kids. A good sized rink. The staff on the ice were really friendly, but the inside of the building looks like it hasn't been refurbished for years. The environment adds to the whole experience, and it felt like we'd stepped back in time 20 years. If this place was brought up to date, it'd... More

We visit fairly often (as it is the closest Ice Rink to us), and often wonder why we bother. The Ice Rink is never full size - as they put fences up for private lessons, meaning that often a huge amount of people are crammed into half an Ice Rink. The Stewards aren't overly helpful, but do the job I... More

Good sized icerink which is fun for skating (generally not too busy) and a reasonably priced cafe. However, the hire shoes aren't great - often cracked plastic, blunt blades, etc although they will happily replace them (... and put them back on the shelves!?) if there's a problem.

It could really do with updating but definitely somewhere you can keep you and the kids entertained especially over the holidays. Would be nice for the local council to put a bit of money into this place as it's a great set up.
