Took our grandsons to Snow White on Ice and was shocked at this venue. The entrance is dark and dingy. The bleachers were broken, splintered and filthy. The toilets were even worse. The whole place is run down and I cannot believe that it passes any health and safety standard.

Went with my daughter and 2 grandsons. Reception not too bothered, we had to ask about everything, even though we said this was our first visit. 7 year old went on the ice, I went to the cafe. Not very impressive, although it WAS very clean. I asked for a baby high chair for the 10 months old and I... More

Snow white on ice was ok ! The toilets were revolting. The manager could not care less. He did not appear to be interested in the slightest when I spoke to him and complained about how dirty the bathroom was. Even a member of staff said she agreed with me that the toilets were filthy.

I first went to this ice rink 25 years ago and it looks like no money has been spent on it in that time. The whole place feels grubby and the toilets are disgusting. I continue to go here as it's closest to my home so not much other choice. Most of the staff are miserable which is a shame... More

Me and my wife live nearby and wanted to try it. According to their website, the facilities were supposed to be open until 6 pm on Sunday, so we came at around 5 pm. However the girl at the reception said that the entry is closed at 4 pm on Sunday, so the only option for us was to come... More

After a trip to Snowdome, I have decided to try and find something a bit closer to home, as Tamworth is 2 h drive. So I found John Nike. After paying £19.50 got my snowboard and was really excited to have a nice few hours on the slope. But...what I found was nowhere close to what I was expecting! The... More

I was at the John Nike for the second year whilst my son took part in an ice hockey training camp. The premises, although a little dated, is welcoming and warm. The cafe was open all day for snacks and warm drinks. There was a public skate at lunchtimes which was well attended. Next to the rink there is a... More

Fair prices, unfriendly staff both on ice and in the cafe, average standard of the ice in the rink and a fun night out with limited music variation

After visiting Guilford Ice Rink, we decided to try the Bracknell Ice Rink at the John Nike Leisure Complex. To say it was unnerving is an understatement. There do not seem to be any rules about the way people behave on the ice. It was rather disturbing and was not a pleasant experience. The more accomplished skaters show little or... More
