I couldn't care less about these kind of places where you only listen to the same music all night long. It exists Latin music apart from reggaeton. It is not definitely my cup of tea.

Set in the outskirts of Malta's notorious Paceville nightclub district this salsa bar is an oasis for Latin music lovers. They have free nightly lessons in salsa, merengue, bachata, reggaeton etc and happy hour on cocktails till 2230. When we visited just before Christmas (mon/tue) it emptied after the class which was a real shame as the DJ was excellent.... More

I didn't to hear much salsa music, and the few salsa songs they played... wasn't salsa as such... some kind of mixed versions of songs that originally belongs to other genres. But... if you... More

Whether you're there for the music, great cocktails, huge drink selection, dancing, or free latin dancing lessons, Fuego is an absolute gem. Its half-dancefloor, half-lounge means that it caters for you no matter whether you're in a party mood or in a sit-down with friends over a bottle of wine mood.

We spent a week in Malta in March and found Fuego's a couple of nights in and then spent every night there for the rest of the week! The dance classes were great fun and the bar staff really friendly. The cocktails were 2 for 1 which was great - and they were expertly made each time. We weren't so... More

I love this place, I have wonderful memories about it. On the ground floor you can dance salsa all night long and meet people with same passion, but in my view the best place is upstairs, where you'll find a wonderful terrace under the stars, in true Moroccan style, all covered with carpets, large pillows, and where you can smoke...
