Packed but really very lovely. Nice little bar as well :-) We were there in May & it was quite busy. Water wasn't too cold for a dip. Well worth a visit - Jelly fish warnings but we didn't see any.

I obviously didn't do my research on St George's Bay but it was sooooo not what I expected. For some reason I was expecting quiet, relaxed and really pretty, but it was full of noisy & tacky bars and clubs, neon lights, people drinking on the streets and even "Gentlemen's clubs". Added to that there was construction going on everywhere... More

The Hotel Corinthia is on a Hill so takes about 20 minutes to walk into town, there are local buses but you do need to rely on transport to get from A-B

Basically give this a miss I won't be coming back to Malta. Poor run down country much prefer Spain . This country is so old . Half the buildings are falling down, dirty. Just like Spain was 50 years ago. I am shocked. The tourism info makes it sound great.but most of the churches were closed. And the museums were... More

Easy access to lively St.Julian, restaurants, shops and bars, but far enough from the noice. Buss stops just around the corner and direct buss to Valletta.

St. George's bay is a little nice beach close to Paceville centre. It is always full with students. The water is clean, and there is a cafe to buy some food/ drinks. Nice to spend an afternoon with friends.

St George's Bay is lovely and quiet but within easy walking distance of St Julian's and Sliema along the coast.
