This a cute little bay out of the many on the Northern coast of Malta. It is special in that it has a small, free, almost sandy beach, part of which is reserved for Intercontinental guests. The bay gives its best out-of-season when it is not crowded yet. Best to take pictures during the sunset.

However if you like being in the thick of it, you might want to stay in sliema or St Juliens as links to other parts of the island stem from here. That said, if you want peace and quiet and some good quality hotels - the Corinthian, Radisson BLu and Intercontinental are all here, then this could suit

Peaceful and relaxing to chill. Its smaller than St Julians Bay however this doesnt make it any less stunning!

Inspite of being a beautiful bay, public transport is very poor as there is only one bus to town and infrequent

If you are looking for a sandy beach, this is one of the last remaining beaches. in Summer it is usually packed, so if you like a quite beach, then this is not the place to be, but there is always something magical with this place. Loved it since I was much younger than today.

The one spot we found you could Sit on the beach and even sunbathe, while on the streets people (and we) were wearing trousers and a jumper or even a coat! Thank god for this spot this week! Our hotel swimming pool was no option due to the cold wind. For the rest: many youngsters there for drinking and probably... More

We loved the area around St. George's Bay. The water was so blue and beautiful. We were around it most days.

It is situated ideally for getting out and about either my foot or using the local transport. The bay has a little beach which is safe for children to play. It is close to the main shops at Paceville and there are some lovely eating establishments close by.

Loved sitting and watching people either on the beach, or just sauntering along into St George's itself, lovely little bar/restaurant, good food, lovely service, partner found Guiness and John Smith's bitter!!
