As a Maltese citizen, i visit the area very often. It is a nice place to walk. Place is surrounded by bars and restaurants, including Mc Donald's and a sushi restaurant. Uphill you can go to Paceville, the other way you go to Sliema, etc.

My wife and I enjoyed several little strolls around spinola bay during the early evening. Well lit, with the chance to have a romantic boat trip around the bay although we never indulged and very peaceful.

A vivid area at evening, with nice restaurants and a fine see breeze... At day, there is a possibility to swim in the bay.

Had a walk around the bay in the evening and ate at one of the local restaurants Biancos. Had a lovely evening with some lovely views. It's busy but has a nice relaxed atmosphere. Worth a visit.

Spinola Bay is a stunning place to spend some time. Too many restaurants to mention surround this traditional fishing bay which really comes into its own at night as the lights surrounding the bay reflect in the water. Not to be missed

First time seeing Malta and it was tough to pin point where we should stay. The lights of St J's or The North of Island where the beaches are (and I'm a beachy person) Im glad we decided here in St J's and Spinola Bay. The place is buzzing with activity. Restaurants, Bars, Cafes and the little bay is wonderful.... More
