Definitely worth a walk for the views, and to drool over the expensive boats! Lovely area and don't be put off by the class of people. They are very nice. I had to ask were we allowed in the marina and told Ofcourse we were!

Its a very small marina but its framed well by surrounding apartment blocks and nice eateries and coffee shops. Is in the more exclusive, upmarket part and makes for a good photo opportunity.

I was staying in Sliema and decided to take a walk and just follow the coastline so after walking past Balluta Bay then around to Spinola Bay i saw a gap in a building with some steps leading down to a marina and so i walked down them and found myself in Portomaso Marina. It is a wonderful place i... More

Portomaso has a lovely modern marina surrounded by smart apartments and several bars and restaurants. We walked here from our hotel and would definitely look for accommodation to stay here on another visit

We enjoyed a very nice special evening here not only because the food is fantastic but the place is also very special, nice atmosphere, not to mention the well knowledgeable lady who helped us choose the right sushi!! We had some assorted sashimis, hosomakis and uramakis which were beautiful and for main course we had the black cod which was... More

This is a stunning small yaught marina surrounded by plush apartments and the Hilton Hotel complex. My advice to travellers wishing to visit for an hour or so is to assume parking will be impossible. Use paid underground parking or take a bus. This whole area is notoriously difficult to park and you may drive around nearby built-up areas, narrow... More

If you want to kill few hours in Portomaso, you will easily do it! Plenty of bars, restaurants, pedestrian zones, views of yachts. Nice, expensive area, but worth even walking around if your budget does not allow you to sit and eat.

Walk through the gardens and across the road. Go down some steep steps and you will be in a world of luxury yachts and tranquility. There are restaurants around the marina though depending on your budget might be pricey. Absolutely worth an evening seating with a glass of wine watching and dreaming about the yachts.

Personally i believe that this is all Malta has to show in terms of good restaurants, cafes, bars, clubs and beautiful scenery. It is a must see while in Malta. Generally, is a high end area build on the seafront that includes an exclusive restaurant area on St. julians marina with yachts and views of the Mediterranean sea.
