This is a pleasant enough area though it is over crammed with restaurants, bars shops and hotels. I really think that the developer were allowed to loose the run of themselves and fit as much in as they possibly could. The Tower is the biggest eyesore in Malta, I thought it was horrible and totally out of character.

You can visit the marina between Hilton hotel, You can drink your coffe of to eat your dinner near to the sea. There are a lot of restaurants. Is a suitable place for a walk. You can visit the portomasso tower and the portomasso casino. There is a shopping center.

Pretty area with lots of lovely boats, fancy shops & restaurants. Certainly lots to choose from but not the cheapest area. Nice for a diversion & something else to look at.

Yes, the place is spectacular, you can wander with your mouth and eyes wide open along the marina, admire luxurious pleasure boats and yachts and dream about having one if you are lucky enough to be given a fortune by your rich uncle or to win the lottery. The posh restaurants around are really pricey, offering dishes most of us... More

You can just about see this tower from all over the island and is a great position locator, around which there are many shops and restaurants as well as having a car park. The marina is right next to this. The Arkadia supermarket at its base provides well priced groceries, beer and spirits if you are self catering or just want... More

We spent a week in the Hilton which backs onto the Marina. It a beautiful place to spend and evening. Lovely restaurant and bars. I could sit all night people watching. We were there at the beginning of June so it wasn't too busy.

We took a lovely walk down to Portomaso Marina and had a lovely time just looking at all the boats and boat sales shops. Dreaming of which one we would buy if we ever won the lottery. Some lovely restaurants down this way too.

After a recent holiday and what was supposed to be a special charter for my 50 birthday, we arrived for an day and an overnight stay on a sunseeker sports cruiser, before arriving at the mooring however we had been told we were getting an upgrade to a better boat but unfortunately that the boat had changed to an Azimut...
