This place is a monstrosity: concrete jungle not in keeping at all with the surrounding architecture of pretty St George's Bay. It's like plonking an 18-30s resort in the centre of paradise. The constant bass thumping music could be heard from our hotel room across the bay.

It a place to have fun all night. There are many pubs , bars, restaurants. They stay open until late. There are a lot of teenagers. If you like fun, footing, noise, music it is the best place

Too many people in one place, we were there during the day, I can't imagine how it is at night when the discos are open too. And just to know we are young people that want to party. The best part is the area around Hilton hotel.

Drunken revellers make it a very overcrowded and busy place. Rather dirty, loud music, grubby bars. Not for me but if you're 18 with mates it's probably great

If you're a teenager you will love this place with its bustling night clubs. For older adults it is definitely not a place for you. Unless you like being surrounded by 16 year old drunks. (16 is the legal drinking age in Malta unfortunately) It is very packed full of people.

Has the feel of Soho in the 70's, bars, clubs, cheap booze leading to criminal acts and violent bouncers. People who live in the area claim the problems relate to a lack of police. Best to go in a group and watch out for pickpockets.

malta is quite a quiet island so we were quite surprised when we discovered Paceville. there are so many clubs with all types of music and regardless of the day of the week, it is busy. the clubs are free entry and the drinks are cheap. would recommend to anybody visiting Malta

Aimed at younger adults cheap shots and shisha bars. Lots of gentlemen's clubs a good supermarket open until midnight. Lots of bars. Gets very busy. But fun.

I just tot back from Paceville, the Malta party area. Many clubs for different music and crowds. Beware of gentlemen clubs; they are NO brothels, but more for lapdances. They may imply or even offer sex, but once You pay they will decline saying it is illegal - which is true at the time of writing this. But of course... More

Paceville really is the cheapest and tackiest place I've ever been. Nothing but drunk teenagers falling all over the streets lined with strip clubs and promotional bars. To be avoided if you have any class or dignity!
