Owner description: Come and visit Paradise Wildlife Park, the most interactive zoo in Britain. Based at Broxbourne in Hertfordshire, we are open all year round, every weekday and weekend! The brilliant design of our enclosures means that you can meet some amazing animals face to face! We have a huge collection of over 400 animals including the best collection of big cats on display in Britain. Our cats include: white tigers, white lions, Amur tigers, Sumatran tigers, African lions, snow leopards, leopards, cheetahs and ocelots. We also have penguins, meerkats, monkeys, gibbons, lemurs, zebras, tapirs, wolves, wallabies, reptiles, birds and much, much more! We are unique because you can touch and even feed many of the animals in the Animal Park by purchasing one of our specially prepared animal feedbags. Have fun in one of our five adventure playgrounds, at the daily shows and at the meet the keeper sessions.

Only thing is please have someone around when young children are in the park, we were viewing the repltiles when at least 20 children ran in screaming and banging on the glass, we had to get out and come back later on, felt sorry for the poor animals trying to sleep, apart from that... Animal enclosures were far too small, despite apparantly meeting legal guidelines, and animals were clearly distressed and unhappy- a leopard was throwing itself against the glass of his enclosure. I left feeling extremely sad for the animals

Went to paradise wildlife park last week taking a 3 1/2 year old. He loved it! The indoor play area was great and it took a while to get him away from it to see the animals. Once we did he enjoyed seeing all the different animals. We enjoyed it as well, will be returning.

although this is not one of the bigger zoo's around, it has a fantastic collection of animals. There is plenty for the kids to do, and the speedway museum is really good

Walking slowly around the park, reading about all the fate of the future of these animals, makes you realise we need to do something to safeguard them. White Tigers, Snow leooards are top of the list but....spend 30 minutes with the Meercats or any other animals ( penguins, lemurs) and you realise what a great job is being done by... More

whilst not outstanding, there is a lot for children to do here. Some of the animal enclosures were small.. We come from Kent and are used to the wonderful natural and large areas devoted to the animals at the Aspinall parks of Port Lympne and Howletts. Some of the enclosures at Paradise were overcrowded and the animals looked bored. Food... More
