Owner description: Come and visit Paradise Wildlife Park, the most interactive zoo in Britain. Based at Broxbourne in Hertfordshire, we are open all year round, every weekday and weekend! The brilliant design of our enclosures means that you can meet some amazing animals face to face! We have a huge collection of over 400 animals including the best collection of big cats on display in Britain. Our cats include: white tigers, white lions, Amur tigers, Sumatran tigers, African lions, snow leopards, leopards, cheetahs and ocelots. We also have penguins, meerkats, monkeys, gibbons, lemurs, zebras, tapirs, wolves, wallabies, reptiles, birds and much, much more! We are unique because you can touch and even feed many of the animals in the Animal Park by purchasing one of our specially prepared animal feedbags. Have fun in one of our five adventure playgrounds, at the daily shows and at the meet the keeper sessions.

My boyfriend and I travelled 3 hours the night before to visit the zoo. I'd chosen the zoo for the experience day of feeding the White lions. I'd like to start with a positive - the keeper who helped him feed the lions and explained all about them, was absolutely fantastic - I can't fault her. She answered all our... More

Really enjoyed our meet the meerkats experience, they are such curious creatures! Also got to feed lorikeets and zebras too. It's really easy to pay £1 and really improves on your day The talks are great and really informative, we were told to go to the cheetah talk and the bird demonstration and also make sure to see the red... We visited Paradise again after about 2 years+. Thankfully it did not rain until we left. Even though it was cold we spent over 4 hours here! There are new tigers. Sadly we found that Turkana had died since our last visit (African lion), who we loved to see. We spoke to his handler who had hand reared him since... More

I had never heard of this park, but found it as my daughter is doing a project and keeps talking about Jaguars! I thought it was really good value, lots to see and do, it seemed like there was a talk or activity going on all the time! The food in Safari Sam's was good value. I only drink decaf... More

We visited last October and had a lovely day out. The farm has quite a big selection of animals and they are all well kept.. The kids outdoor play area is very good too.

Had such an amazing day. The staff were really friendly and answered any questions we had. There wasn't as many animals as I would have liked but will go back in the summer when I would imagine there is more to see. I think paradise wildlife park treat the animals very well, upset to read other people felt differently. Lots... More

This is by far one of my favourite zoo's, loved it when I was a child and still do! A good variety of animals never really too busy and you can get so much closer to them compared to other zoo's! Standard zoo prices and always a good day out!

Just back from our third visit to Paradise and still really impressed with the park. There was 3 of us today, myself and my 2 boys aged 4 and 2. We made use of a Groupon promotion valid even through half-term saving us £6 on the online price so £24 in total. Being half-term and a nice sunny day the... More

Family visit to see the wildlife park, which has come up in the world over the last generation or so. It was a cold day but if you have a striped or spotted fur coat built in, it doesn't seem to matter. The personalities of many of the animals were quite easy to spot, especially as meal time approached. The... More
