Description:

Come and visit Paradise Wildlife Park, the most interactive zoo in Britain....

Come and visit Paradise Wildlife Park, the most interactive zoo in Britain. Based at Broxbourne in Hertfordshire, we are open all year round, every weekday and weekend! The brilliant design of our enclosures means that you can meet some amazing animals face to face! We have a huge collection of over 400 animals including the best collection of big cats on display in Britain. Our cats include: white tigers, white lions, Amur tigers, Sumatran tigers, African lions, snow leopards, leopards, cheetahs and ocelots. We also have penguins, meerkats, monkeys, gibbons, lemurs, zebras, tapirs, wolves, wallabies, reptiles, birds and much, much more! We are unique because you can touch and even feed many of the animals in the Animal Park by purchasing one of our specially prepared animal feedbags. Have fun in one of our five adventure playgrounds, at the daily shows and at the meet the keeper sessions.

I visited the zoo with my boyfriend and mum for a day out. As it's not too far from where we live and having visited it as a child, we thought it would be a lovely day. I have fond memories of this zoo; from happy animals to wonderful enclosures. But as soon as we arrived we realised this was... More

There are lots of animals to see and lots of keeper talks at different times of the day, we say the cheetah talk and it was very interesting, the keeper was very well informed, the big cats are amazing and you can get very close, we saw the male lion close up and he is beautiful.

A great place to visit to see the wonderful conservation work being done. Great number of animals with great opportunities to see them close up. Great range of talks and opportunity to see animals being filmed. Had a red panda experience which was wonderful. Got the opportunity to hand feed these wonderful animals and photograph them close up. All keepers... More

I booked the 'Shadow a monkey keeper' experience as a birthday present. It was fantastic! The keeper who we were with, Steve, was knowledgeable, funny and you could clearly see how passionate he was about his job and every single animal he looked after. He answered all of our questions and made the day unforgettable. I cannot recommend it enough!... More

we were quite pleasantly surprised how nice, clean and compact this zoo was with the addition of crazy golf and other amusements for younger children(in which you pay extra for) plus there was a farm animal section where you can feed the animals by hand. Entrance fee is a little bit pricey thou £17 adult and £14 a child being as... More

This is quite a pleasant place to visit with a lot of unusual animals to see. Children will definitely enjoy the playgrounds. Having been to several wildlife parks we thought the big cat enclosures here were on the small side and the cats looked quite bored. The small animals had good enclosures and seemed quite content. The price of food... More

Been going here since I was a kid and it's a nice day out. Would be nice to see some of the enclosures updated but the wolf walk was nice.

This is a great activity to do on a rainy day however it doesn't take long to get around. We were in and out within an hour and a half. We were a bit disappointed that the tiger cafe was shut as was the other cafe, so nowhere to get a hot drink. We weren't very impressed with the lack... More
