Fun

Not suitable for tiny children but 6 and up is fun-fun. The film, the activites, everything. Didn't have enough time so will be going back for more.

Me and my 11 yo son definitely enjoyed the visit. But when I planned it, I thought we would spend a lot more time there or even two days (we stayed near in Sokos)! Mmm... in fact 3 hours + Planetarium are too much, IMHO. My advice: don't buy tickets via website, as it doesn't give you to purchase "Exhibitions... More

This museum is worth a visit, although it is a bit far away from the city center there are transportations to the museum. It is amazing and extreamly good for children. Worth it!

There are plenty of experiment stations in Heureka. If you come with children you should definitely book a whole day for the visit. You can easily come there by train from city center (single train ticket 5 e/adult).

My 4- and 6-year-old boys were in awe of all the attractions although everything had to be explained. The explanations are at least in Finnish, Swedish and English there. I recommend!

The place is quite small, so if you have visited Heureka before you propably find yourself bored after 45 minutes. You can reach the place by train or car easily, it's located just few hundred meters from Tikkurila train station.

Heureka is very easy to get to from anywhere by the train. We felt like the newest exhibitions they had were more aimed for kids. As adults we didn't find most of the things that suitable for us. We have visited Heureka several times before and we enjoyed those exhibitions a lot more. The rat basketball is always the highlight... More

We went here back at Easter and spent some time , but didn't see everything so we went back now in the summer intending to spend just an hour or two there. In fact we were there all day as there were lots of new things to do and see as well as repeating some of what we'd done before.... More

Heureka science centre is easy to reach by train from Helsinki (nearest station: Tikkurila plus 5 minute signposted walk) and well worth the trip. The entrance fee is quite pricey so you may want to stay the day to make it worth your while. Plenty to see and do, decent cafeteria and yummy ice cream on offer! Children will love... More
