This aquarium shows life in freshwater (rivers, lakes, ponds..) and their surroundings. Apart from that, it also has displays that focus on the region and the longest river in Denmark (Gudenaa). A large family-based play area completes everything nicely.

At AQUA you will learn about animals living in freshwater. Bring your family, regardless age, they will all enjoy. As AQUA is both inside and outside, bring suitable clothes.

A lot of different species to discover, the concept is original. There is a big playground for the children.

Very good experience. You can se aquariums both outside and inside. Expecially good was the interactive playground for kids outside where they learnt about water. It was a hot summerday, and there were loads og kids having fun in the water

If you are staying in the Silkeborg area - this is a must see, nice for the kids

The Aqua centre focuses on the native wildlife of Denmark and has bith indoor and outdoor displays, of animals , fish and birds in very large tanks and pens.
