You will learn there a lot about the history of the shoe industry in France and in Romans-sur-Isère, which was a very well known place for the luxury shoes during many years. The building is an historical place and the visit is really worth the trip.

We enjoyed this museum with our 7 years old granddaughter last weekend:set in an old convent it displays a collection of over 13,000 items reflecting the history of the shoe throughout the times and across the 5 continents.All kinds of shoes are displayed and we really enjoyed the fakir's sandal,the musketeers' boots,the zebra and giraffe escarpins...
