The Disney Village( formerly Festival Disney) is situated between the Disney hotels around the lake and the parks. The entrance is on the left when you exit the railway station. There are many restaurants and cafes, not all owned by Disney. The shops stay open until 1am fridays and saturdays, and the restaurants and bars stay open til late every... more

Gourmet? No Way!! Disney Village is similar to Universal Drive on a smaller scale. However, the food is awful. As we entered the "Strip" we chanced the first diner on the left. It had queue and we reckoned that it must be good. Service etc. was good but it is expensive fast food, cold chips etc. We tried the Rainforest especially... more

Read the report from Beer-Club-for-men and double the expense with the poor euro and add another year's worth of dirt and you will get the picture! With kids meals at 17 euros - take enough money - you'll need it! more

Not that I was expecting anything like Downtown Disney in Florida, but this place was just awful. The restaurants were grossly overpriced and shabby, staff were unfriendly and very 'un-disney'. We decided not to pay for the overpriced food at any of the restaurants, and decided to go to McDonalds instead. It must have been, without doubt, the most disgusting,... more

Bit of a mixed bag at the village for me. One thing all the restaurants had in common was...they are all expensive. 2 adults and 2 children buying 4 small drinks and 4 samdwiches with ham and cheese (which were stale I might add) came to 30 pounds which was outrageous. We ate at Planet Hollywood which for the 4... more

Disney is Disney - and every child should have the occasion to visit. However the reality is - only if you have a lot of money to spend. Hotel, breakfast, access to two parks, fast pass to get past the long queus - it almost sounded worth the money. I've done a separate review of the the Hotel New York.... more
