We stayed over for a wedding and it was an amazing day... Most of the staff there were quite friendly however there was a few that weren't as nice. The paintings are spectacular and the ceiling art is just mind- blowing. There was lots of room for the kids to run about on and the had a little boogie session... More

Kelmarsh hall is set amongst the beautiful (and much underrated) Northamptonshire countryside and has a very rural feel. Yet, as I learned, it has a prominent and even cosmopolitan past. I'll let the reader discover the fascinating history for his/herself but suffice it to say here that it is a story of inspiration and a determined vision. And the main... More

We went for the Easter egg hunt, which was well organised and had things for the kids to do. We made an Easter bunny and chick which the kids (4 and 6) enjoyed. Not much for them to do if the event had not been on though. The walks around the garden and kitchen garden are lovely and well maintained.... More

Visited Kelmarsh over the Easter weekend and was very impressed at the transformation of the tearoom since my last visit. The food and drinks were first class and were served as a proper tearoom should. Traditional cups and saucers and a wide selection of teas. The home made cakes and sandwiches were outstanding with generous portions. Whilst I can relate... More

Thought we would pop into Kelmarsh Hall for a walk around gardens and a coffee and cake. In the past the coffee and cake could be a bit of a gamble. However pleasantly surprised today to find tearoom under new management . Proper menu, wide selection of cakes and fabulous sausage rolls. I can see this becoming regular drop in... More

Really good day out, dog events, birds of prey, clothing, antiques, crafts and food, even a couple of bars. Lots to see and do for all. Weather was great too😊

£15 to get in a fair. Everything a ripp off.. Virtually no guns for sale No Gunmakers row because the dealers can't afford the pitch prices. Overpriced food and drinks. Typical Britain.... Sad

As a regular visitor to Kelmarsh hall the whole family were looking forward to the start of the new season and some more wonderful cream teas. We were not disappointed. We were greeted by Maria who was presented us with the most amazing display of freshly made sandwiches, scones and cakes all of which were delicious and appear to have... More

The hall is lovely and well kept, but you only get at tour of the downstairs as the upstairs is roped off. Having said that the tour lasted an hour and the guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The gardens are well manicured and full of dahlias of all colours-stunning. There is a small but nice gift shop and a... More
