Pretty house in need of a bit of tlc

Pretty gardens and nice to walk around, several different sections and the walled garden was really lovely. Shame you can't walk to the far side of the lake and look back. House... read more

As bridesmaid at a wedding here recently I felt compelled to leave a review as the Hall, grounds and staff were superb! The stunning view upon entering the drive is impressive and the house looks fantastic in the background of the photographs I have seen - the reception area was grand but not ostentatious and the welcome was very warm.... Visited Kelmarsh today and so glad that we did--the Hall itself is only open for limited times so we deliberately chose a Tues so that we could go around the Hall as well as the gardens. A treat--and Pat the guide was so pleasant & informative. The staff generally were very very nice--as was the delightful tea room. A must!!

It's a few years since we last visited Kelmarsh Hall and we felt on this occasion that the gardens seemed more neglected than they were previously and some of the more distant parts of the parkland more overgrown. At least it made our own garden look tidy! Nevertheless we enjoyed wandering round the park and gardens and we would still... More

I have visited this gorgeous home on many occasions, but love returning! On the 23rd June, I was passing after a visit to Market Harborough. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon, so perfect to visit Kelmarsh Hall. The gardens are stunning, the air full of lovely fragrances! The House stunning, our guide, interesting and very knowledgeable, something I admire! Didn't... More

Not aware of Kelmarsh and just happened to pick up a leaflet somewhere. The tour of the house was very interesting and the guide very knowledgable. Gardens were attractive and quite extensive. Had both lunch and a light tea both of which were very good; service was good and friendly.

I visited with my daughter and a friend for the Afternoon Tea. It was a lovely afternoon and so we decided to eat outside. With only a short wait our tea was brought outside, and what a spread there was. There was an assortment of four different sandwiches, two savouries each and slices of cucumber and cherry tomatoes. This was... More

I visited Kelmarsh as part of a small group. None of us had heard of Kelmarsh before our visit but we returned delighted to have discovered this little gem. We were given a guided tour by Betty who needs acknowledging for her amazing memory as the Kelmarsh story is nothing if not complicated but she had all the facts at... More

We stayed over for a wedding and it was an amazing day... Most of the staff there were quite friendly however there was a few that weren't as nice. The paintings are spectacular and the ceiling art is just mind- blowing. There was lots of room for the kids to run about on and the had a little boogie session... More
