We visited Kelmarsh Hall second Thursday of July on a lovely day, the house tour was very enjoyable and was about one hour and a quarter which meant we did not feel rushed and were able to take in the history of the place and appreciate the furnishings. We had a very nice light lunch, other half had a ploughman's... More

Went for lunch with my husband, he had jacket potato with bacon and sausage, he said the sausages were to die for, obviously from a locally sourced butcher, which proved to be correct after talking to the waitress. I had home made fish cakes, new potatoes and salad, could not fault anything, everything perfect. The staff in the tea room... More

Returned again, lovely place to visit, lovely views and wonderful gardens. Enjoyed a bacon & Brie Jacket potato, followed by a cream tea. What a little gem Kalmarsh is.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch, friendly staff, Kelmarsh broth was very good, told by waitress that the ingredients are from Kelmarsh gardens. Went away with two slices of cake, great takeaway service provided. Look forward to coming back soon.

You will get an interesting hours tour of the ground floor of the house and the gardens are so English. Strool down to the lake and look back at the house.

We arrived early as it was a stunning day. Unfortunately, there appeared to be only one card machine in the whole building, which wasn't working so we paid our entry fee with cash hoping by the time we visited the tea rooms, everything would be fixed! When we arrived to order our food, a member of staff was prizing the... More

The hall is not open very often so you have to make special plans to give it a visit. Unfortunately the day we visited it was very wet. The house itself was very interesting and the guide is very knowledgable about its history and how it developed. The cafe was very good - huge pot of tea and some cakes.... More

We visited Kelmash Hall on Sunday 4 May 14. We thoroughly enjoyed the visit, the gardens are beautiful, as were the views, it was restful and the tour of the house was fascinating. The house is basically decorated in the ‘English Country House’ style, because the lady who introduced this style lived in the house in the 1930’s. She went... More

We were looking forward to attending May Day celebrations at kelmarsh. I checked the internet before we left and it sounded like a good day. We waited until 2pm when the website said that there would be house tours from 2-5pm. On arrival we found a rather unhelpful lady on the desk. Who said they were only doing 2 tours... More

Visited the Kelmarsh Country Fair today, £15 entry for an adult and £4 per child for the bouncy castle gives a flavour of the rip off nature of this event. One star is one star too many!
