An openpit mine next to the city. You can go see the facilities on a guided tour. And you can now go up the belvedaire and see the project from above. Nice view.

Project Canadian Malartic had two sections. The Malartic Mine Museum and the new Osisko Mining Complex. Very educational, they let you have first hand on how mining was started and we can now take bus tours to actually go on the site to see how mining is done & distributed. You are able to see first hand the machinery used... More
