We had such a great time learning to cook Thai food with Amporn! We stopped at the market to get ingredients before heading to the school. Every student was able to make 4 dishes and brought home recipes for other dishes too. This is a must do in Chiang Mai!

I visited Chiang Mai last month with my extended family of seven people, ranging in age from 9 to 75 years old. We had an absolutely perfect experience learning about Thai cuisine and then cooking several dishes. We began at a local market where we learned about the many interesting vegetables and fresh foods available in Thailand. We then went... More

We (I was there with my wife and two daughters aged 8 and 12) booked this particular school as they were one of the few in the area that would accept 8 year olds. As a consequence of our visit both my daughters are now keen to try their new cooking skills on our friends! We were collected from our... More

Spending time at a cooking school makes a lot of sense for Thai tourists who love Thai food. This particular cooking school is probably the best one in the Chiang Mae area. The facility is quite impressive with excellent equipment and staff. The day starts with a visit to a local market to select various kinds of fresh foods that... More

A must do in Chiang Mai. We each cooked an appetizer and a soup of our choosing from a menue of choices. Then we cooked together a main meal and a desert for both of us. We did a private tour with Ayo (Panphailin Puntira email: Panphallin1975@hotmail.com). Ayo was a delight as she took us to the local market to... More

My husband and me booked a six meal cooking course at Baan Hongnual Cookery School. After a very interesting visit on a local market we prepared all our meals made of very fresh ingredients. We were thaugt by very good proffessional Thai teachers in English. It was an unforgetable day, and we are very glad we chose this interesting cooking... More

Instructor is an experienced chef. She breaks down the recipes into easy to follow steps. The class was a mixture of food buffs and novices. Setting is lovely. They grow many of the herbs used in the class. The full day course is worth the extra money and time. Whether half or full day you get a cookbook at the... More

We were collected from our hotel in Chiang Mai, taken to a market where our teacher explained to us about all the different ingredients used in Thai cookery. We bought many of the fresh ingredients that we were going to use during our cooking class. There were 6 of us and we all mostly cooked the same dishes, but had... More

I can't believe we cooked, and it was even better than most meals we've paid for in Thailand! Our first trip in April was so good with two friends, we brought family back here in May! With a full day course, they pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. After a stop on the way to a... More
