Really lovely place. Was great for a swim. I had a snorkel and did see some fish. You have to pay for a table or cottage type area by the entrance which is ok, not too expensive. There are some shops a couple minutes away by bike for souvenirs or food and drink. But overall I fiy found it a... More

We went to see the enchanted river with mixed expectations . But we were presently surprised . The place was clean . The tourism staff were friendly and accommodating. There were enough huts for visitors . Though the parking area was about a half kilometer away, there were motorcycles to bring the designated driver back to the Enchanted River entrance... More

I think the best time to go here is 1. During summer to guarantee a good weather 2. Around mid day to see the clearest of the river. It's open as early as 6am though 3. And during weekdays to avoid the crowd We went there last weekend but it rained. Although the river is not at its bluest, you... More

The trip from Butuan to the enchanted river takes about 2-3 hours. And the streets are very very basic. But it is absolutly worth it. The colour and cleaness of the small pool is fantastic. Swimming there with a couple of fish is really realxing and good fun.

I was afraid to go swimming because something might pull you down underwater ahaha!.. went here together with my family and friends. it took us 4hours to get here but it was worth it. around 12noon (I think) they feed the fish, so they let everyone out of the river.... I see now why they call it enchanted river. The water is so blue, you'd think your in the ocean. Its also teeming with different kinds of colorful fishes that swims just below your feet while your at the water but do not be alarmed, they are harmless. They actually move away if you ever get too close. At noon,... More

I went here last April 2013 I guess, when I arrived in this place, its truly enchanting and wonderful. From CDO to Butuan, I rode a bus it was like 3-4 hours I guess, then from Butuan to Hinatuan I road Van For Hire and it was 2-3 hours bumpy ride. Then, you need to take Habal-Habal, like 30 minutes.... More

It would be best that you do have goggles when you go here to really appreciate the clear deep waters of the enchanted river. Life vests are provided for in the venue but if you have your own, bring them not just because the water is deep but because the current is strong when you get far from the river... More

We went here first before we travelled to Tinuy-an Falls. It was advised to us by the owner of Marky's Hostel to go here early in the morning to enjoy the river and to avoid the crowd. The water was blue and clear, we can even see fishes. We braved to swim the river even though we forgot to bring our... More

I have never been a diving enthusiast much less, a swimmer. But the lure of the deep blue and aqua colored water dancing before my eyes along with the glee of my cousins were so tempting, I did join them for a swim. The sight of a bevy of fish coming out to the music that is played every 3... More
