I went here last April 2013 I guess, when I arrived in this place, its truly enchanting and wonderful. From CDO to Butuan, I rode a bus it was like 3-4 hours I guess, then from Butuan to Hinatuan I road Van For Hire and it was 2-3 hours bumpy ride. Then, you need to take Habal-Habal, like 30 minutes.... More

It would be best that you do have goggles when you go here to really appreciate the clear deep waters of the enchanted river. Life vests are provided for in the venue but if you have your own, bring them not just because the water is deep but because the current is strong when you get far from the river... More

We went here first before we travelled to Tinuy-an Falls. It was advised to us by the owner of Marky's Hostel to go here early in the morning to enjoy the river and to avoid the crowd. The water was blue and clear, we can even see fishes. We braved to swim the river even though we forgot to bring our... More

I have never been a diving enthusiast much less, a swimmer. But the lure of the deep blue and aqua colored water dancing before my eyes along with the glee of my cousins were so tempting, I did join them for a swim. The sight of a bevy of fish coming out to the music that is played every 3... More

Had a short weekend trip to this famous river in Surigao. It was a grueling 5-hour land trip from Davao City and on top of that, our van broke down. But all the stress was replaced with delight in seeing this river with its clear blue water. Swimming in the river was so refreshing with the water temperature varying as... More

After being tired travelling from tinuy-an falls to this place. Surprisingly, i was amazed when i saw blue clear water and fishes as it was noontime, the time for fish feeding. Really, the place is so great for family on holidays.

Better start in Surigao City (Surigao del Norte) and have an overnight stay in Britania Group of Island, then proceed to Tinuy-an Falls before proceeding to Enchanted River...

The pre-dawn travel was worth it! The vibrant blue water is truly ENCHANTING. Here are some important tips to enjoy your visit: 1. The place is really crowded during the weekends. Best to avoid the place on Saturdays and Sundays, if you can. If not, just be the by 8 AM. It usually gets crowded around 10 in the morning.... More

This place has a very limited area, thus with people coming in during holidays it is best to visit it during weekdays with no holidays... If you want to view the fishes besides from feeding time you can request to enter at night time. During this time when the water is undisturbed will the fishes appear and swim freely. It... More
