From the name itself, this place is truly enchanting. It is located in Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, and the road going there is rough so you will need a vehicle that can survive rough roads. But rough roads are nothing when you arrived to this majestic place. The waters are so clear- bluish/ greenish.. You can swim, dive, or ride... More

The place as you see it on the pictures is how it really looks. Don't even need to photoshop the view! And the food... YUMMY! Going there may be a bit of a challenge if you commute, so it's probably better if you hire a van or have your own car. We spent more than 4 hours there since we... More

Fish feeding a must-see @ 12pm! There were just sooo many people! It was a Saturday when we drove there. There were no more cottages left. Apparently, weekends tends to attract more visitors. Things to bring: * underwater camera * snorkelling gear - to take a glimpse on the mystical sea creatures living underwater * life vests for those who... More

Beautiful sight. Right temperature. A little difficult to get to without private transportation, but once you get to the place, you'll forget about the stress. :)

The parking is kind of far from the entrance booth. You have to pay an entrance fee: Adult - PHP30.00 Kids (below 4 feet) - PHP5.00 It is recommendable that you should bring your own food as service might be long. I would also like to tell you that you should go there in the morning because sits and tables... More

The river itself wasn't that bad but there's nothing special either. We flew from Manila and hire a car from Davao to get there. Not so Impressive. If you're a local, it should be worth to go there. If you're not, better go somewhere else.

Be there early in the morning to swim. There are banka's that will take you out to sea. About 10 km of dirt road to get there, but paving is in progress.

The enchanted river of Surigao del Sur was so enchanting!! The water is so clear, reflecting blue and green colors as it vary by depth. At 12 noon, they ring the bell which signals the start of fish feeding... There are a lot of fish in the area during that time... There are also cottages in the area... You can... More
