In the last 300 years, Bacarra has had multiple earthquakes so St Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church is not just a declared Filipino national treasure but a partly reconstructed survivor to boot. If you are going to the beaches of Pagudpud from Laoag, I suggest you go the route Bacarra (Bacarra Church) – Pasuquin (Pasuquin Bakery) - Burgos (Burgos Lighthouse) – Bangui (Bangui Windmills) - Pagudpod. the surroundings are clean, peaceful and church interior is solemn. spend a very few minutes to take great pictures :)
