Rosemary Beach is a neo-traditional town located on northwest Florida's gulf coast, between Panama City and Destin, at the eastern end of Scenic Route 30A. Easily accessible by air or by car, the town is a 30-minute drive from the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport and a one-hour drive from the Fort Walton Beach Okaloosa Airport. The Rosemary Beach Land Company and President Patrick Bienvenue had a vision they wanted to share with the world. In 1995, that vision became a reality and Rosemary Beach was born. Rosemary Beach Land Company’s development plan is founded in the principles of New Urbanism and Traditional Neighborhood Development. Inspired by other classic beach towns, the 107-acre, gulf-front town of Rosemary Beach was designed to bring back the notions of community, neighborhood and convenience. In other words, this slice of heaven on earth offers residents the opportunity to live and work in paradise. In their search for paradise, people often travel to the far corners of the earth, only to come up empty-handed. In reality, paradise is a lot closer than most people think. Long stretches of pristine beaches made up of the brightest of white sands. Refreshing breezes blowing off the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The peace and tranquility of gently lapping surf, singing gulls and sandpipers. These are things that have been quietly awaiting discovery in a section of Florida's panhandle. These are the ingredients that make up the town Rosemary Beach--paradise found.Residents of Rosemary Beach are lucky to not only live and work here, but also to have the opportunity to play here. When work is finished and the rest of the errands can wait, Rosemary Beach is the perfect location for a vacation. Mild year-round temperatures, yet still a change of season; spectacular beaches free from crowds; the natural beauty of a beach-side destination located on a designated scenic road; aesthetically-pleasing architecture and award-winning, expertly-designed layout; convenient and quaint town center, amenities such as tennis courts, pools, dune walkovers to the beach and lots of green areas in which to relax; these are the qualities of the new paradise of Rosemary Beach.

Most of the beaches in this area are incredible. The water is warmer than Atlantic and Pacific beaches and unless there is a storm around, the waves/currents are much calmer than the East and West coast beaches. There were lots of public access areas but parking is limited.

The most beautiful and sophisticated beach destination in the west coast of Florida. Spectacular planning, architecture, character, homes, hotels, shops, everything. Great for family and romantic gateways. Ten points!

Beautiful coastline, quaint and luxurious cottages, lovely shops and just a beautiful community overall, Rosemary Beach is one of the prettiest hamlets on 30A.

This is yet another lovely spot in Florida. There are vacation homes, villa rentals and hotels within this area. It's a great place for a family vacation or a romantic getaway.

Staying on Rosemary Beach and rented a carriage house for my mom and I. Lovely community. However, we are incredibly disappointed with our decision. We do not feel the standards that Rosemary Beach adheres to are being met in this unit. The queen bed is comfortable and what you would expect. The pull out couch is unacceptable and is clearly... I agree with the rave reviews about the beach, the service, the architecture, and the overall vibe of RB. It truly is a stunning destination that is head and shoulders above most beach destinations. Why not five stars? It comes down to this: if you rent a cottage or condo here, it can be rather expensive and not all of... More

Fantastic planned development and new construction for a beach community. It has a Charlstonian, Savannah and New Orleans feel right on the beach but brand new. You can walk anywhere, the beaches are private to only the residents and guests on the property, and there is plenty of great food and shopping.

One of the best beach communities ever! We've always stayed immediately adjacent to Rosemary in Water's Edge where we can easily walk or bike to Rosemary. Love the boutiques and all the sidewalk restaurants on Mainstreet! The Farmers' Market on Sunday is wonderful, too!

Rosemary Beach reminds us of a European town. It has a small town park, shops, great restaurants and of course a beautiful white sand beach. A favorite pastime is riding a bicycle on the designated path along state route 30A.

Just a quick review...anywhere along the Gulf Coast is pretty sweet. This little community is great for biking or walking to get around. Everything is very accessible. The water was very pretty and clear. We paddle boarded all week on calm waters because of a north wind. Can't say anything bad about this whole area! It's only 15 minutes from... More
