Description: Rosemary Beach is a neo-traditional town located on northwest Florida's...
Rosemary Beach is a neo-traditional town located on northwest Florida's gulf coast, between Panama City and Destin, at the eastern end of Scenic Route 30A. Easily accessible by air or by car, the town is a 30-minute drive from the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport and a one-hour drive from the Fort Walton Beach Okaloosa Airport. The Rosemary Beach Land Company and President Patrick Bienvenue had a vision they wanted to share with the world. In 1995, that vision became a reality and Rosemary Beach was born. Rosemary Beach Land Company’s development plan is founded in the principles of New Urbanism and Traditional Neighborhood Development. Inspired by other classic beach towns, the 107-acre, gulf-front town of Rosemary Beach was designed to bring back the notions of community, neighborhood and convenience. In other words, this slice of heaven on earth offers residents the opportunity to live and work in paradise. In their search for paradise, people often travel to the far corners of the earth, only to come up empty-handed. In reality, paradise is a lot closer than most people think. Long stretches of pristine beaches made up of the brightest of white sands. Refreshing breezes blowing off the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The peace and tranquility of gently lapping surf, singing gulls and sandpipers. These are things that have been quietly awaiting discovery in a section of Florida's panhandle. These are the ingredients that make up the town Rosemary Beach--paradise found.Residents of Rosemary Beach are lucky to not only live and work here, but also to have the opportunity to play here. When work is finished and the rest of the errands can wait, Rosemary Beach is the perfect location for a vacation. Mild year-round temperatures, yet still a change of season; spectacular beaches free from crowds; the natural beauty of a beach-side destination located on a designated scenic road; aesthetically-pleasing architecture and award-winning, expertly-designed layout; convenient and quaint town center, amenities such as tennis courts, pools, dune walkovers to the beach and lots of green areas in which to relax; these are the qualities of the new paradise of Rosemary Beach.

Wow...what a wonderful place to stay. We were in one of the quaint cottages within walking distance of the downtown square. Lots of shops to visit and the beach was fantastic. It felt like a mini Charleston.

Had a great visit. Enjoyed riding bikes, walking on the beach, sitting under my beach umbrella reading, eating out... It was all great. (Except beach chair rental service, Seaoats. Not a fan.)

I love Rosemary Beach. Everything is kept meticulous and it draws a different crowd than PC. The only drawback is staying not right on the ocean. There really are not tons of places with an ocean front view, so hauling your stuff to the beach isn't the funnest thing in the world, even with the shuttles. Other than that, it... More

Rosemary Beach is a precious little town on the Florida Gulf Coast. Once you arrive, you really don't have to get in your car again. Everything...Shops, restaurants, and activities are all within walking distance from any home in Rosemary (except maybe for a big grocery store run). Biking is the main mode of transportation! There are always things going on... More

Rosemary Beach is s wonderful beachside community with high quality accommodation and facilities. The big houses are designed for multiple families sharing and there are various price brackets available - obviously the closer to the beautiful beach, the more expensive. There is a quaint high street with 4 or 5 good restaurants dotted amongst typical charming seaside shops. Most of... More

This place truly is the most adorable little town you will ever come visit. The beach is clean, the people are so friendly and everyone is in the best mood. This place everywhere you turn has a perfect view. I highly recommend The Pearl Hotel. the staff is better than any Ritz I have been to. ☆☆☆☆☆

Great slow-paced village along Route 30A. Visited for a family vacation with small children. The ride-your-bicycle anywhere pace was just what we needed.

We stayed in Rosemary beach the last week of July 2015. Our family rented what was billed and priced as a luxury rental. The house wasn't nearly as big as it appeared to be on the rental website and had a list of problems a mile long. Everything from showers that wouldn't drain, plugs that didn't work, dishwasher falling out... More

Stayed in Rosemary Beach with our family in August 2015. The development and the beach are beautiful -- our pictures are amazing, but overall we had enough complaints that we don't plan to go back. The town of Rosemary Beach was stuffy and often a hassle. If one tire of your car is even an inch into the pine straw... More
