Easily accessible by air or by car, the town is a 30-minute drive from the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport and a one-hour drive from the Fort Walton Beach Okaloosa Airport. The Rosemary Beach Land Company and President Patrick Bienvenue had a vision they wanted to share with the world. In 1995, that vision became a reality and Rosemary Beach was born. Rosemary Beach Land Company’s development plan is founded in the principles of New Urbanism and Traditional Neighborhood Development. Inspired by other classic beach towns, the 107-acre, gulf-front town of Rosemary Beach was designed to bring back the notions of community, neighborhood and convenience. In other words, this slice of heaven on earth offers residents the opportunity to live and work in paradise. In their search for paradise, people often travel to the far corners of the earth, only to come up empty-handed. In reality, paradise is a lot closer than most people think. Long stretches of pristine beaches made up of the brightest of white sands. Refreshing breezes blowing off the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The peace and tranquility of gently lapping surf, singing gulls and sandpipers. These are things that have been quietly awaiting discovery in a section of Florida's panhandle. These are the ingredients that make up the town Rosemary Beach--paradise found.Residents of Rosemary Beach are lucky to not only live and work here, but also to have the opportunity to play here. When work is finished and the rest of the errands can wait, Rosemary Beach is the perfect location for a vacation. Mild year-round temperatures, yet still a change of season; spectacular beaches free from crowds; the natural beauty of a beach-side destination located on a designated scenic road; aesthetically-pleasing architecture and award-winning, expertly-designed layout; convenient and quaint town center, amenities such as tennis courts, pools, dune walkovers to the beach and lots of green areas in which to relax; these are the qualities of the new paradise of Rosemary Beach. « less

A must stop if you are vacationing anywhere near the beaches of SoWal. Great food options, shops, bike rentals or just hanging out. The architecture of the homes in this community are quite unique and that's what makes visiting along Highway 30-A so much fun. Sometimes you will see "Cruise Ins", a weekend market and other activities. You won't be... More

The beach is stunning with sugar sand and aqua water. There is a lovely section for hotel guests with chairs, umbrellas, towels. Leave everything at home except sunscreen!

Nice beach. Upscale so no beach shacks for food or drinks. No bohemia, but more like Pleasantville:) Not much real shopping around the main square except for touristy and kids stuff. Kids EVERYWHERE!

This is our second year to Rosemary. We like it a lot. This may be a little "nit-picking", but they need to do a better job of trash removal at the beach. There were days when the trash was overflowing out of the containers. I would also be careful about which homes you rent. The one we stayed in this... More

Rosemary Beach has everything you need for a family beach vacation. Charming cottages, beautiful beaches, lively town squares with shops and restaurants, 4 small swimming pools, 8 clay tennis courts, bike paths and a fitness center. All of these amenities are walkable or bikeable so no driving is necessary aside from a run to the grocery which is a few... More

This is our fourth summer trek to Rosemary Beach and at the outset, I have to say we had a magical week filled with fun and memories. But I feel compelled to review the spot again this year because so much has changed. First of all, and primarily, this was our first trip since the opening of the new hotel,... More

We stayed at the Levy Penthouse. Upon arriving we find out there is about 3 flights of stairs to carry all your luggage and no assigned parking. This a huge problem on the busiest street on Rosemary we had to park a block away. Also, this rental does not include reserved beach chairs and umbrella carrying all your beach stuff... More
