Description: Rosemary Beach is a neo-traditional town located on northwest Florida's...
Rosemary Beach is a neo-traditional town located on northwest Florida's gulf coast, between Panama City and Destin, at the eastern end of Scenic Route 30A. Easily accessible by air or by car, the town is a 30-minute drive from the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport and a one-hour drive from the Fort Walton Beach Okaloosa Airport. The Rosemary Beach Land Company and President Patrick Bienvenue had a vision they wanted to share with the world. In 1995, that vision became a reality and Rosemary Beach was born. Rosemary Beach Land Company’s development plan is founded in the principles of New Urbanism and Traditional Neighborhood Development. Inspired by other classic beach towns, the 107-acre, gulf-front town of Rosemary Beach was designed to bring back the notions of community, neighborhood and convenience. In other words, this slice of heaven on earth offers residents the opportunity to live and work in paradise. In their search for paradise, people often travel to the far corners of the earth, only to come up empty-handed. In reality, paradise is a lot closer than most people think. Long stretches of pristine beaches made up of the brightest of white sands. Refreshing breezes blowing off the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The peace and tranquility of gently lapping surf, singing gulls and sandpipers. These are things that have been quietly awaiting discovery in a section of Florida's panhandle. These are the ingredients that make up the town Rosemary Beach--paradise found.Residents of Rosemary Beach are lucky to not only live and work here, but also to have the opportunity to play here. When work is finished and the rest of the errands can wait, Rosemary Beach is the perfect location for a vacation. Mild year-round temperatures, yet still a change of season; spectacular beaches free from crowds; the natural beauty of a beach-side destination located on a designated scenic road; aesthetically-pleasing architecture and award-winning, expertly-designed layout; convenient and quaint town center, amenities such as tennis courts, pools, dune walkovers to the beach and lots of green areas in which to relax; these are the qualities of the new paradise of Rosemary Beach.

We have vacationed in Rosemary Beach for years, then decided to make this beach community our permanent home! We are so blessed. This little town has everything you need, a fantastic school, church, post office, shopping and restaurants. The beaches of South Walton rival any island I have travelled. Sugar white sands and gorgeous dunes beckon us each day! Summer... More

The architecture and the beach are both so lovely. I recommend visiting this spot during any season. The restaurant options along 30 A will cost you many hours of exercise but the food is worth it! I hope to return with my golf clubs next time. There are several nice courses nearby.

Rosemary Beach is a gem. It's a gorgeous community with luxury amenities such a superb restaurants, shopping and a terrific spa. I was there recently for a wedding and it was the perfect spot for a December wedding on the Eastern Green. The beach is stunning- the whitest of sand and water like turquoise. It's all a bit of a... The whole area is well designed. Lots of people and families get around on bikes. The building, condo and shops are very nice. Great place for family time or couple time. We really like the development you can tell that it was well thought out. You won't find miniature golf and all of the rest of the things instead it... More

We stayed in the Carillon Beach Resort next door and came to this quaint little town for breakfast and we were all amazed how perfect this little town was! Great little coffee shops, restaurants, and park spaces to enjoy. I think the beach was restricted but we weren't there for the beach. If you are in the Panama City area,... More

We visited Rosemary Beach recently to attend a wedding. The city is very beautiful and inviting. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping and all is within walking distance of where we stayed. We hated to leave this paradise.

Perfect time of year to enjoy the Ambiance of this town. It can be very crowded in the Summer Time. Love the shops and cafe's. They decorate so beautifully during Christmas. The weather was Perfect at the beach.

Nice Gulf Coast Beach. White Sand, Cool Breeze and clean. This was a nice December day of 76 and very few were out. The week I went was in the mid 70's which is about 10 degrees warmer than the December average which made it perfect! An upsale area between Panama Beach and Ft. Walton.

We prefer Watercolor over Rosemary and Seaside due to the crowds. Rosemary particularly feels crowded -- houses are close together, and the wait in the candy store is ridiculous. Alys Beach, Watercolor, and other areas are less compact and more relaxing. With that said, Rosemary has some beautiful homes and some of the houses closer to the beach and on... More
