Description: Rosemary Beach is a neo-traditional town located on northwest Florida's...
Rosemary Beach is a neo-traditional town located on northwest Florida's gulf coast, between Panama City and Destin, at the eastern end of Scenic Route 30A. Easily accessible by air or by car, the town is a 30-minute drive from the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport and a one-hour drive from the Fort Walton Beach Okaloosa Airport. The Rosemary Beach Land Company and President Patrick Bienvenue had a vision they wanted to share with the world. In 1995, that vision became a reality and Rosemary Beach was born. Rosemary Beach Land Company’s development plan is founded in the principles of New Urbanism and Traditional Neighborhood Development. Inspired by other classic beach towns, the 107-acre, gulf-front town of Rosemary Beach was designed to bring back the notions of community, neighborhood and convenience. In other words, this slice of heaven on earth offers residents the opportunity to live and work in paradise. In their search for paradise, people often travel to the far corners of the earth, only to come up empty-handed. In reality, paradise is a lot closer than most people think. Long stretches of pristine beaches made up of the brightest of white sands. Refreshing breezes blowing off the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The peace and tranquility of gently lapping surf, singing gulls and sandpipers. These are things that have been quietly awaiting discovery in a section of Florida's panhandle. These are the ingredients that make up the town Rosemary Beach--paradise found.Residents of Rosemary Beach are lucky to not only live and work here, but also to have the opportunity to play here. When work is finished and the rest of the errands can wait, Rosemary Beach is the perfect location for a vacation. Mild year-round temperatures, yet still a change of season; spectacular beaches free from crowds; the natural beauty of a beach-side destination located on a designated scenic road; aesthetically-pleasing architecture and award-winning, expertly-designed layout; convenient and quaint town center, amenities such as tennis courts, pools, dune walkovers to the beach and lots of green areas in which to relax; these are the qualities of the new paradise of Rosemary Beach.

Rosemary is a very neat place to visit. A little beach community with restaurants, shops, condos, houses, and a hotel. It is very busy and most people travel by bike. While this is fun, it can be very difficult to navigate by car especially at night. The beach is very busy as well. They had a movie night on the... More

We've stayed and multiple places along 30A over the years and our favorite is by far Rosemary Beach. This was our third stay here, and we rented a house for two weeks during our stay. I will say like many comments Rosemary is busy during this time of year. It's peak season and you'll find the beaches crowded. But they're... More

Evidently the word is out on Rosemary Beach! We spent a week there this June and had a nice time, but were regularly faced with overcrowding. Here are a few things we liked about Rosemary: 1) Great, white sand beaches 2) Quaint, family friendly environment 3) Plenty of options for dining 4) The bike paths. Lots of places for the... More

Rosemary Beach is almost everything that all the other reviews describe. The beaches are beautiful and the community is charming and very cool. It's a little more crowded than I expected, but nothing we couldn't handle. My only advice is, make sure you know what your house or cottage offers before you book it. Our cottage was very nice, but... More

We rented the Martin Cottage this week for $10,000. It is not worth it. Nice house but poorly appointed. Also advertises high speed internet but it doesn't work. We have been here for 4 days and have called no less than 10 times with no results. Apparently the owner has the property manager locked out of the closet that has... More

We had seen pictures and been told what a lovely beach area this is. We were not disappointed during a recent visit. The water is crystal clear and the sand is like sugar. However, there aren't a lot of seashells to be gathered. I didn't expect this beautiful water on the Northern Florida Gulf Coast as we have always visited... More

We were there during spring break with our kids, so I knew it would be very crowded. It was an absolute zoo. The beach was so crowded that you literally had maybe one foot between you and the stranger next door. Everyone is very nice and cordial, just know you will have zero space. The umbrella rentals are pretty steep,... More

Placing our reservation in January 2015 for a May 2015 trip, we thought everything would go smoothly, not so...we were bumped twice in a week to different units (of lesser value). After arriving, a maintenance person met us in the driveway to tell us the bathroom doors weren't functional and there was nothing that could be done. We called the... More

Stroll the streets and browse the streets. Stops for me annually include Pish Posh Patchoullis, a great place for lotions, potions and after sun care. The corner store, which is like a great pick up a gift store, the ice cream/candy store. GiGi's great place for children's needs and or gifts, books, clothing some toys. Go for a quick drink...
