I call here regularly to visit their gallery and shop and also larger events. They have a variety of resident artists who can be seen at work, a gallery, restaurant, etc. They have courses, fairs and events, and host a large art festival each summer with visiting artists of renown, music, etc

Patchings is in a very pleasant spot near to Calverton. It's an ideal place to have coffee and cake and to relax in the very comfortable restaurant. The decor is country kitchen but there are always interesting paintings to catch your eye. There is an Art Gallery for exhibitions and a gift shop which always has unusual craft items for... More

Great to be able to see the artist in residence working at his craft in his studio, if he has the time he is happy to have a chat and share his experiences. The shop... More

Marvellous exhibits and very informative staff in the galleries and shop. We tried the restaurant 'one more time' Never again. Overpriced for quality and service. Wrong drink brought, food not hot. Who uses dried chives these days?? Added to cottage cheese on a cool jacket potato!!! Salad garnish comprised 1small lettuce leaf, 1 small slice of tasteless, woolly tomato. Oh... More
