Had lunch once and got excited because the place had character, we sat outside as the weather was nice. Unfortunately the service was terrible, order was screwed up and lots of traffic next to the beer garden, killed the ambiance. Might go back when a band is playing and give it another go.

I liked the friendly service and the quality of the food and drinks that are served. The location is great, too.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon just before closing time (last entry is 3.30pm and closes at 4pm). It is managed by the National Trust and the entry fee is most reasonable. Before we started wandering around the house, a nice lady gave us a quick run down on the history of the house and the family who originally owned... More

Initially parked outside Woodbridge House to visit the café next door but after refreshments we decided to have a look inside, We were greeted by two very nice and smiley ladies, they told us the whole history of the property then left us alone to look around. The house has been very well preserved and is a great look back... More

If you enjoy a taste of yesteryear, then Woodbridge House is well worth a visit. Situated in attractive grounds on the Swan River at Guildford (and with a restaurant right next door!) this stately home was built in 1885 and rooms are set up to demonstrate how people lived in that era. The house is open 1 pm - 4... More
