Meridiana Wine Estate produces some of the best Maltese wines. All our wines are produced using only Maltese grown grapes, most of which in the vineyards of our estate in Ta Qali, Malta's agricultural heartland. Meridiana Wine Estate produces only approx 140,000 bottles of wine per year and is considered to be a boutique winery producing high quality wines - our mission statement is to produce World Class Wines of Maltese Character. Some of our most renowned wines include the Isis (Chardonnay), Astarte (Vermentino), Melqart (Cabernet Sauv/Merlot), Nexus (Merlot), Bel (Syrah), Celsius (Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve). We have recently launched a First Limited Release of our new dessert wine, Baltis (Moscato Passito). The first vintage has yielded only 405 bottles. We also produce a mid level range called Fenici. It is made up of a White (Vermentino/Viognier/Chardonnay), a Red (Syrah/Merlot) and a Rose (Cabernet Sauv/Syrah). Most of our production sell in Malta & Gozo. We reserve a small amount of wines for export to select markets like Japan, Denmark & Belgium and to private clients in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.

We randomly rang this company from the visit Malta website and booked in for wine tasting. When arriving it was a beautiful winery building in the middle of the grape fields. The staff were knowledge and inviting, we were given loads of time to relax and taste wines and it only cost €10 to taste four wines! We went on... More

I've been there few days ago for wine tasting and it was absolutely fabulous. I've booked everything via email without any problems. Very kind lady showed us a winery and said that we can choose 4 wines for tasting. Lovely wine and atmosphere, would highly recommend.

A unique wine tasting opportunity where traditional Maltese hospitality inebriates visitors whilst whetting their taste buds on the delicious products of local vines. Truly a cippus for all wine-lovers to be guided by.

My wife and I stopped in to Meridiana on our trip to Malta. We were looking for a winery to visit and since Meridiana is somewhat close to Mdina, we were able to bus it from Valletta. We did not call or make any appointments so I cannot say what the full tour would be but one of the staff... More

I found Meridiana wines closest to my liking in Malta. The tour was informative and interesting, the wine tasting was very enjoyable. "Nexus" (Merlot) and "Isis" (Chardonnay) were my favorites, both of very high quality, good body and complex taste. Later, in a restaurant we ordered "Bel" (Syrah) to a steak, which was again a superb choice.

We were very lucky that the concierge in our hotel had a good relationship with this wine estate as they were able to squeeze us in even though they were preparing for a function that afternoon that would go on into the evening. We got shown around and I learnt a lot about the process of making the wine. They... More
