I hired a local koolee for my wheelchaired daughter, and he carried her all the way down the canyon to the waterfalls. They are just splendid! And afterwards we dined in a cafe up the hills with a veiw to the falls.

A lovely walk into the waterfall, monkeys on the way. The waterfall is beautiful and you can easily access the river and waterfall. The water looks cold but its warm. Its a real wow feeling to stand under the waterfall. It;s a great place to visit. A 20 min walk onwards takes you to an even more spectacular waterfall. The... More

This is a lovely place. Love it but will not go there again as it was too tiring. After seeing one of the waterfalls, I was too tired too complete the journey.

The walk to these two waterfalls (Tiu Kelep and Sindang Gila) is a good couple of hours round trip and well worth it. Absolutely breathtaking scenery and swimming in Sindang Gila is unforgettable. There's a cave behind the falls that is nice to climb into and it is so refreshing to swim there after the hike you won't want to... More

You DO NOT need a guide there, even though, the will tell you you can't find the way...just follow the road throught the forest and follow the people - they are everywhere...you have to cross the river 2 times...e.g. like 20 meter in the water with the guide you can go though the tunel where the watter goes...with your own... Most beautiful waterfall seen on my trip to SE Asia. Nice nature walk to the second falls -- Sindang Gila Waterfall -- and quite worth it. Be prepared to pay for a guide. Not sure whether you have to but there is a portion of the hike where you cross a river with slippery rocks and the guide is helpful... More
