if you are in harris, you have to try this ! we were Lucky enough with the weather and could go to the island on the second day planned, with sun the whole day. the island itself is a fantastic mix between breath taking landscapes and deep historical/human heritage, which makes it one of the best hike I have ever... First wanted to visit St Kilda in 1984. Then the only option was a converted trawler, but Kilda Cruises' Interceptor 55 is real progress. Crew knowledgeable and quietly competent, the boat comfortable and the island itself everything I imagined. Would fully recommend this firm to anyone planning the trip

Fantastic trip to the islands of St Kilda with Kilda Cruises. We travelled on the Orca III boat and both the skipper and assistant were very knowledgeable and checking that all the passengers were OK. Spent a great 4 hours or so on the Islands then the boat took us around the stacs which was amazing experience. He took the... More

This trip was a really special event. The story of St. Kilda is amazing and the island has an incredible way of reaching in and under your skin. This trip is worth every penny and will stay with me for the rest of my life. My advice - take a good camera, a packed lunch and definitely some travel sickness... More

Trip was unforgettable and the staff were superb. I had asked about cancellations in the Tarbert office and was delighted to be informed that a place had become available. The girl in the office was suerb as were Chis and Malcolm on the boat. Professional and well run company.

I have dreamt about going out to St Kilda since I was a child listening to my Grandpa's tales of his trip, when in the '60's, on a whim got on a fishing boat & traveled out. Kilda Cruises were fantastic from all the contact whilst on the mainland & the first day when, due to weather we were unable... More

No doubt this is a superb experience and, if you get there, Kilda Cruises offer a great day out. However, I have to deduct a rating for each of the following reasons: 1. Sadly my trip was cancelled due to weather conditions on both of the days set aside for the day trip. I was mindful of a certain risk,... More

Dear SASumner Thank you for your review and I hope that I can answer the points that you raise. This season has been the worst in terms of weather that we have had since 2005 and unfortunately some of our scheduled trips, including yours, have been cancelled. We have considered doing as you suggest and giving 'odds' on a two... More

We had a very impressive voyage to st. Kilda. Angus and David are great. Even for people with seasickness (as me) it is a very pleasant journey. We had a lot of time to spend on st. Kilda, and before leaving a beautiful trip round the other Islands. We had our ten years old boy with us, and he had,... More

A must do trip. Kilda is stunningly beautiful, infact you can't do the views and the island justice in words, it has to be seen to be appreciated. Kilda Cruises provided a safe and comfortable journey there and back. Angus and David are extremely pleasant and very informative of the island and its history. Orca III is a great boat,... More

We had booked through Sea Harris, but unfortunately they had an unexpected breakdown and were out of action for a couple of days. We were so incredibly grateful that Seamus at Sea Harris arranged for his bookings to be transferred to Kilda Cruises for the day. (Apparently they tend to help each other out when these situations arise) Both businesses... More
