I booked a trip for me, my cousin and his girlfriend as my cousins birthday present. He loves adventure so I booked the High Adventure tour with the six man boat, it was a complete surprise for him to the moment we pulled in, where there was that wonderful mix of excitement and nervousness. We did the safety talk and... More

I went into this thinking the ride would be a pretty passive experience -- I've always been a little disdainful of rafts, with tourists crammed in like sardines. In fact, this was a real whitewater experience, letting someone like me, who isn't a good enough paddler to kayak big rapids on my own, experience big drops and powerful currents. Our... More

We had a blast rafting however it was the only good part of the experience. When I booked this trip I was offered camping at an additional $19 a person including breakfast. I asked a lot of questions and was told that there would be food to purchase at the camp ground as well as a pub. They do have... More

I have rafted in France, Sweden, Turkey and with another rafting company on the Ottawa river previously but my recent experience with RiverRun Rafting exceeded all prior adventures. The entire set-up was very well organized, the guides all knowledgable, professional and safety oriented. We were a group of 4, (one mid-aged adventure seeking mother and three young adults) and we... More

I have been on rafting trips down the Ottawa River before, but with other companies. I must say that River Run exceeded what other companies offered. The Guides were very well organized, and getting geared up in the morning was a very smooth process. Our Guide "Jason" was VERY enthusiastic, professional, and blended well with our group of 12 friends... More

We were a group of 12 and filled up a twelve person raft. Some of us had rafted before, for others it was the first time. We ranged from very excited to very nervous. After a day with our amazing guide, Jason, we all agree we want to go back and will definately go with River Run again. Everything was... More

Whether you love water or not, whether you have canoed in the past or not, whether you have seen it on screen or not, you will enjoy that ride ! If you are not willing to be bumped out of a raft into the river, go for the 12-man raft. It will be interesting and fun without getting too scary.... More

The rafting was a lot of fun! We did a 4 hour run and got a bbq lunch at their campground afterwards. We didn't camp overnight, but from the set-up they have, camping there would be a lot of fun. Very relaxed environment there, and it seemed like a great place to hang out for the day with friends.

First time white water rafting and it was an amazing experience. I felt extremely safe with the thoroughly trained staff. When our raft did flip all of the staff was very quick to assist all the passengers who had fallen off. They were knowledgeable about the area, the history and rafting techniques. Would love to visit at a different time... More
