This beach is 1 hour north of Winnipeg and in my opinion is a must see from late June to the end of August and don't forget Your swim suit ! There are some restaurants a mile from the beach (you'll see them on your way in). There is the West beach that is a more happening beach and where... More

This beach, one of several that populate the south basin of Lake Winnipeg is simply amazing. You can walk out hundreds of feet on smooth sandy bottom to get to waist level in the water. The vista is comparable to a Caribbean beach. To find such a wonderful relaxing beach in a Prairie Province is simply a treat

Not all gorgeous beaches have to be on the ocean as in trip advisors recent ratings. Those of us who know of all the gorgeous beaches in Manitoba especially along lake Winnipeg, including Grand, Lester, Hillside and Victoria beaches know that Trip Advisor doesn't always get it right! Come on guys- move beyond the stereotypical tropical beaches and find a... More

Grand Beach Provincial Park has amazing sandy beaches that will delight the avid sunbather. The water of Lake Winnipeg is a tad cold, but on hot enough day, will feel wonderful. In addition to the beach, the village of Grand Beach (located within the park) has a boardwalk where you can buy clothing, souvenirs, drinks, and food. However, if you... More

OMG Manitoba is so lucky to have this! Winnipeggers are lucky to have this gorgeous place an hour from their city to drive. If you are visiting Winnipeg, this is a MUST SEE. Why spend the day in the busy, high stressful city when you can pack up your bathing suit and get away from it all. The sand here... More

I was blown away seriously right in Manitoba I had no idea Miles of white Sand and Sun. It's a gem and it's busy but if you want a Tan in Canada this will cook you to a tender crisp.

Grand Beach is only about a 1 hour drive from Winnipeg the major city in Manitoba, Canada. The first thing that you will notice as you approach the long white sandy beach is how fine the sand actually is. It has that real whitish look and each particle of sand is very fine. Nice below your feet. They have spent... More

The best sand in the world to walk around in your bare feet. Just an hour out of Winnipeg. You can make a day trip extraordinaire, you just can't beat the beautiful sand to walk on, you can go for a swim and some great food too on the boardwalk.

Miles of white sand beach and a huge lake highlight this tourist destination. Sun, swim, walk the sand dunes. There is lots to do and a beautiful area to do it in. Long weekends find the beach, campgrounds and cabins packed to capacity. Special events throughout the summer highlight some of the special interests and features of the area. As... More
