Dennis taught us to sail. Very professional, confidence building. He was friendly and thoughtful and not overbearing. He let us learn at our own pace then got off the boat and let us hone our skills. He's an excellent teacher.

Anchor Bay Watersports Resort is a favorite daytime destination of locals and visitors alike. The location offers a premiere dining experience for patrons whilst taking in the breathtaking seascape back-dropped by Tablas Island. Before or after enjoying a savory meal guests can take a plunge into the cool blue ocean waters where pristine coral colonies grow and prosper in the... More

I have already reviewed this establishment for its rooms and separately for its restaurant and so will not repeat much of what I said there. Suffice to say that the island hopping half day tour that I enjoyed for P1500 was outstanding, even if it was the boatman's first time (so he told me.) I visited great beaches at Lugbong,... More

There are many activities that you can do here, including paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkelling, diving, and other water sports. They have a fantastic restaurant, and beautiful accommodations.

Anchor bay is a great snorkel/dive spot with nice coral, and plenty of marine life to see, right in front of Marlin Bar. But if youre not comfortable snorkeling, the coral and marine life is visible from the kayaks or stand up paddle boards available to rent. The restaurant has great food/drinks and a great view of the sunset. Its... More

Had done Borocay and was hoping to find a more chilled Philipine experience that got similar winds but was close if need be. Well we stumbled on a gem in Romblon and Anchor Bay. There is a brilliant sand bar for kitesurfing and more about 200m away, the town and surrounds safe and perfect for relaxing. That's all before you... More

We stayed there for overnight last May 3-4,2014. We were initially booked at a small hotel near the port but later on we decided to transfer to this resort because of the fantastic view, a reasonable cost for accomodation and very welcoming staff and owner. We got a small room for 1,500 good for 2-3 but since we're a group... More

Right on the sea with all the watersports you need but if you don't need sports, then the bar is a great place to sit and watch fitter people than myself...ice cold beers and good food at reasonable prices. It's so easy to just sit here all day long watching the sea, islands and the sports. Will be back very... More

Den and Barbara are a fantastic couple who made me as a solo traveler very welcome and like I was one of the family. Very easy to get on with and to chat to and to pass the time of day with. I went out with them several times, island hopping one day which was amazing and kayaking on another... More

The first and only true watersports to be found in the province. They offer everything from beginner level stuff--like snorkeling and banana boats--to advanced sports like frontier fishing and sailing. And it's about 50% cheaper than Boracay. They also always have cold drinks, great food and one of the most chill spots to hangout in on the Island. And oh... More
