I took my sister here for lunch on a horrible wet winters day. A lovely welcoming bar area with a roaring fire in the hearth. All the staff were really friendly and the food was delicious and good value. I would highly recommend the Valley, at any time of year!

We booked here for a Saturday night, 7 of us in total. Had a nice lady take our orders, food didn't take long to arrive. Very tasty, great price, Atmosphere was very nice, calming, lovely pub and lovely staff. Would come here again.

A real local pub with local banter going on - we enjoyed listen to the locals (although the Welsh accent was a bit difficult to follow sometimes). The service was excellent and the food was the best we had all weekend -... More

I visited the Valley Hotel for the first time with a small group of friends who regularly meet for lunch. There is good parking at the rear of the hotel. The bar is warm and welcoming, with a cheerful fire burning. A reasonable choice of beers, ales and wines met all of our needs. This is a 'choose from the... More

Visited here for Sunday lunch after a stroll with friends around Gower. Lovely food, reasonably priced and friendly. Quaint seating area outside. Would visit again if down that way.

We have been here several times and the food is always good. No need to book for 4 people, just walk in and have a drink to waite for your table. Waiting times are not long. Have been at lunchtime also. Would recommend a visit.

Nice local pub, good lunch! I had Lasagne and Garlic Bread, my 4 companions all had Sea Bass with a Crumble topping . We all shared three puddings, all of which were excellent! It was fairly quiet on the day we went...a Tuesday, but tgat you would expect! All in all we really enjoyed. We will go again!

lWe had intended to visit the Joiners across the road for lunch but discovered that it didn't open until 3 o'clock so went over to the Village. It was friendly enough, with the dog being welcomed and had a basic pub food menu; burger, fish and chips, sausage and mash, et cetera. We went for the sausage and mash and... More
