Everything about this trip was amazing. Oxalis are a great company to deal with. Jamie in bookings is super friendly and efficient. The drivers are friendly, polite and always on time. The guides were so knowledgeable and approachable; and the porters are all super-human. If you are looking for a great company to look after your next tour in Phong... More

Your trip to Hang En was excellent. Our two guides were knowledgable, friendly and patient. The hiking portion and the cave itself were breath taking. The food was very good considering it was a hiking trip. I only wish we walked a little slower and had more time to explore on the 2nd day in the cave. But I understand... More

Did the one day trip at Tu Lan cave system with guide Wu. Nice guy, who speaks English very well. We were with a small group, which was perfect for the trip. Wear long trousers and preferably also a longsleeve and bring a set of dry clothes. You can easily borrow shoes from Oxalis to walk in, they'll get wet.... More

We did the 4 day/3 night Tu Lan expedition and had a great time. The area is gorgeous, but more impressive is the excellent organization and staff. The guide, assistant guide, British cave experts, and porters were the absolute best. Everyone was equally concerned about safety and fun. The food was fantastic. How these guys could create such culinary magic... More

My partner and I did the Hang En tour and absolutely loved it with all the river crossings and the breathtaking scenery. Be prepared for leeches; they can go through the holes in the hiking boots and any space they can find. They're quite harmless but if you're not keen, move fast and there's less chance they'll latch on to... More

Supper day trekking & caving, very friendly well informed guide with good English. Beautiful countryside, gives you a real taste of minority village & how they live. Fascinating caves with amazing stalactites & mites & wonderful swim through came lake to reach the exit. Delicious lunch by swimming pond followed by fairly energetic trek through jungle to return to base.... More

LOVED this trek! Beautiful country and INCREDIBLE cave! We did the one-night trek to Hang En cave with about 10-12 other people in the group. Hiking was fairly easy, and we were so glad to have borrowed the tour group's boots (Cambodian combat boots, drained quickly for all those river crossings!). The second day was tougher than the first, with... More

Words will ever explain what a experience our 5 day trek to Son Doong cave was. Oxalis from the word go were amazing. Jamie was our contact for organising the adventure and I could not fault her. She was always helpful and gave us great suggestions. The tour company for our Vietnam tour was perfect. We felt safe at all... More

I've done 2 treks with Oxalis now -- Tu Lan and Son Doong. Both were outstanding and felt more like glamping rather than camping from the service. You sleep in caves on new, clean, top notch gear. The porters do EVERYTHING. They shouldn't be called the porter team, they should be called the supporter team because without their support this... More

My 2-day trek to Hang En Cave (the third largest cave in the world) was undoubtedly the highlight of an amazing trip to Vietnam. Oxalis is extremely professional and their guides were native Vietnamese who spoke excellent English and offered extensive knowledge of the terrain, caves, and local culture. Not only that, their sense of humor, attention to detail, and... More
